You can now search for a keyword on a webpage in Safari :) A feature I have been itching for since getting an iPhone 4 years ago. This will allow me to use my iPhone/iPad to browse the web instead of always going to get my laptop!
Not sure if I understand you correctly, but searching for a word on a webpage was possible on earlier iOS versions.

Any news on battery? I know it is kinda early to tell, but has the battery improved from beta 1? I had to go back to 8.4 (beta at the time) from the 9 due to the insane battery performance.

Can anyone tell if it has been improved?

Beta 2 was already 10x better than beta 1 in terms of battery so I expect no less

FYI - this feature has been there for AGES! Lol, I learned of it last year but it has been there.

I read someone who asked how it is done:

In safari - tap on the address bar and type in a word (but do NOT click GO to search)
On the bottom there is a section called "On this page", tap on it and it will be the keyword search (FYI I am on 8.4) -- look at the screen shot attached

This is a step in the right direction as far as tweaking the UI for the iPad -- there's a lot more Apple could do to improve the experience for the big screen.

I'm not seeing News either - UK user (though currently in Finland)

No News app for Canadian users.
There are still news displaying on the new page (swiped all the way to the left), as in beta 2, but tapping on the news no longer takes me to safari.

Can someone try "Show photos of my mother"?

Prerequisite: Have photos of your mother tagged in Photos (with her full name as in Contacts) and have relation on her name as Mother.

I've yet to see anything I actually want out of this OS release. If it's going to take a hit on my battery consumption throughout the day then I just might skip it.

Anybody else see the photo of Tim Cook laughing associated with the Android Operating System in Apple News app?

Hi, I have upgraded ok. But phone stuck at > slide to upgrade, not responsive. Anyone with same problem ?

Has anyone managed to get MacRumors to pop up in News' search tab? I scrolled for ages to find it, and then I, of course, gave up and moved on just as it appeared on the screen. Now it won't show up again. I've tried various searches to get it to pop up, and nothing.
