It certainly appears to me that they've fixed the VPN bug where services like PIA wouldn't work in beta 1 or 2 - most apps would just loose connectivity when activating a VPN connection. This seems to be fine for me in beta 3 now.

Scrivener won't open on this beta. Dammit. Downgrading to Beta 2. I hope it will work :/

A restart fixed it. Spinning pointers and all sorts of issues. Seems ok now. You're not using pinned tabs I assume? There was nothing rock-solid about that in Beta 1.

Err, yeah, I used pinned sites, and yes, it wasn't stable.

It Crashes on this beta.

Yeah it's incredibly frustrating. Worked perfectly fine on all previous betas and it's my work app... anyone has any workaround before i downgrade? :(

Try this: Create a new User in Users and Groups, next log out and into the new User, does it open, if so something is preventing it from running it in your normal User Account.

Amors just said it works on his machine, this tells me it could be some 3rd party software that is causing the crash, or a plugin.

Have they fixed the green button to maximize the window instead of going full screen? Most annoying bug in OS X since Yosemite.

Looks like I have the update bug as well..Dev preview 3 isn't showing up anywhere, and it says that Im "up to date" with Dev preview 2 -_-'

DP3 has fixed some very unpleasant UI issues with a number of applications I had. There also seems to be some visual changes, but I am not sure (it kind of seems different). WIFI is faster. Wondering whether they have fixed the WPA2 Enterprise connection bug I was having at work, will check tomorrow.

All in all, this update looks very solid so far and is finally approaching the stability levels of Yosemite. DP2 was very unstable for me.

In Mission Control, you can now drag out full screen windows (even in split screen) to make them appear as windows on the current space.

DP2 is still online. The problem are the sucatalog files.
Yes. I know the direct links still work for DP2 but currently that is the only way to get DP2. Updating from DP1 via the mac app store will no longer work because DP2 has been removed from the sucatalog and DP3 is just a delta update, not a combo. And so far DP1 is the only full installer.

If beta 3 never happened and beta 2 became the public release, it would still be better than Yosemite. And that says a lot, because I never had problems with Yosemite.
No it wouldn't. I've been running it as my main since the beginning and it's really starting to show it's a beta. Memory leaks and stuff. Yosemite had no really problems for me.

Agreed. Beta 3 finally restored my third USB port and the ability to sync to my iPod.
