Point remains. It's a nice healthy markup for Apple for something that doesn't cost appreciably more to manufacture.

Leather is nasty. Such a strange contrast to have a sleek modern phone in leather case. And, considering it's made in China, it's probably dog skin or something.

Yes, I'm serious too.

If you are lucky enough to visit the dog meat market someday, you will find them like to skin the dogs alive. It's the living hell for the dogs. Imagine where all the skins of the dogs had gone. I'm a chinese. And I'm so ashamed how some chinese treat the animals. I'm not saying Apple's leather case made of dog's skin. But, everything is possible in China...even Apple doesn't know about it...

Well in case you didn't "Get it", I meant it may have been made with foreskin... What's interesting is that you said nothing to the person I replied to who remarked about the cases being made in China from dog skin... I admit, my post probably left too much to the imagination and ultimately in bad taste but you CHOSE to find it "inflamatory and ignorant". Look in the mirror before you call somebody ignorant and reflect on your obviously bias world view.

Soft, grippy but not rubber, squishy like the cheap silicone cases you usually find. Kind of like the texture of the iPad smart covers/cases.
