Still no change with my preorder. All these stories of people cancelling their orders and getting them in-store makes this option very tempting, but risky. Apparently you have to cancel before you re-order for in-store pickup, but then the phone could be taken during the time you initially check, cancel, and then re-order. Maybe I’ll just walk into the Apple Store and see if they have any (apparently they’re more plentiful than anyone thought), and then cancel my preorder while in the store if I can get one right away.

Hi, this happened to me as well and I have been not-so-patiently waiting for my date to be moved up. Could anyone send the best directions possible for canceling the order and trying to get one in-store? I would like to try that, but don't want to mess up, and so I'm super nervous. Or at least point me to a post in this thread? I want it already!

How many of the folks in this boat have seen movement on their orders yet? My fear is that since they bumped us from Dec. that we're at the very end of the Nov. 17-24 queue and so we won't see actual shipping any earlier than that, unlike others who had 17-24 originally.

Ugh, I haven't even been bumped into November yet. Just Dec. 10-18 to Dec. 1-8 :/
[doublepost=1510180944][/doublepost]Does anyone have the best method to email Apple about this? The phone rep I've talked to is sadly so nondescript and I would like an email follow-up.

Not sure if any of the people affected by the Citizens bank mess are still reading this thread, but I’d like to know if any have seen movement on their orders—dates changed, credit card charged, iPhone X in transit or even received, etc. I’ve seen absolutely nothing happening with my order since my original delivery date of November 17-24 was restored way back on October 28. Meanwhile, I’ve been really envious over reading posts from several people in the Nov 17-24 group who are having their phones delivered over the next few days. So frustrating!!!

0 movement here, and it’s so annoying...

From what I can tell, people whose dates were bumped up due to the Citizens One debacle are all over the map in terms of actual shipping. I was bumped to 17-24 from Dec 11-18 and (finally!) shipped on Wednesday, Nov. 8 with an estimated Nov 15 delivery. I've also spoken to a guy who received his on launch day after getting bumped back up. I feel your guys' pain who are still waiting. At this point I think you can count on actually receiving it somewhere between the 17-24, but it sucks that you won't be getting it earlier, as so many have.
