Wow. That's a pretty respectful and cool way of treating your staff. How many staff are getting these? I mean, the pessimist would and could say something like "great PR, but slave labour in factories" or "just clearing out all the channel of old iPads they now won't sell during the pandemic so they can sell the new one", or something. But, most companies in the world wouldn't do this, a lot of companies would (and will) demand you drag yourself to work.

That is so true. However, people would still try to criticize, no matter what. I love it when they try to swing the positive into negative (typical, especially around this forum)

Tim Cook isn't exactly the best CEO business wise, but he is actually a genuine nice guy IMO, which is rare in that position.

I suppose in an ideal world, Steve Jobs might have stepped down as CEO and focused mainly on designing new products, while Tim Cook oversaw the day-to-day running of the company. But as the saying goes - man proposes and God disposes. He was gone too soon and we were left with Jony Ive in charge of product design. The man isn’t perfect, but he is perhaps the purest expression of what made Apple the design-led company it is.

Cook has refined Apple’s culture and expanded it, and has done as fine a job as any CEO in American history, if not world business history. He’s the CEO Apple both needs and deserves.
