I wish for a new Apple TV to go along with this! AirPower and AirPods 2 would be good though
An Apple TV update and a streaming Service. You heard it here first, folks.

Not sure what a new AppleTV could bring, though I'm not opposed to seeing what Apple would put in a new one.

Could see more original shows. Maybe a big update to FinalCut Pro, but I doubt that.

I'll watch it, but I'm not excited. As for Macs, I don't think we will see refreshes until WWDC or a few weeks or months after.

How is AirPower worthy of a preview on stage ages ago but the actual release not worth mentioning on stage?

I think AirPods 2 would also be worth of a stage announcement

Apple releasing more emojis ?

Apple has failed to excite me for the last couple of years, they are increasingly making products that either do not interest me, or they simply refuse to sell in New Zealand and fail to support in New Zealand.

I am slowly moving out of the Apple market which I have been in since the Mac 512KE.

Can we have an Airpods update please?

Yea, that would be awesome. I've been rocking my pair since Dec 2016. Lost them twice, recovered them, acidentally put them into the washing machine - but they're still working, except the battery. They last for about 90 mins now, so I'm really looking forward to get 2nd gen.

Ehh.... Too little, too late. Pretty sure whatever they announce will be half baked. Their whole strategy when it comes to TV is to look at the competition and then deliver slightly less. Trust me, it hurts to say that because I have been a strong advocate of Apple products for a long time, but whatever was in the well when Steve died seems to have dried up. Same ****, different day. (I hope they prove me wrong)

Meanwhile...

I still think we’ll see hardware at this event. At the very least, Apple is going to update the AppleTV or whatever takes over.

The service itself is called “Apple TV” so now would be a good time to introduce whatever comes next. Given how Apple has been spreading AirPlay to as many TVs natively as possible, I can imagine other devices taking over the function of tvOS and instead AirPlaying to TVs. HomePod would be a good candidate to take over this role. An HDMI stick could add AirPlay to non-compatible TVs and serve as the tvOS entry device with a bundled remote.
