APFS is magical, or so I hope.

Hmpf. Microsoft's WinFS was " magical " - at least on paper. A file system that technically wasn't a simple file system anymore but a real database? Yeah. That idea made a lot of sense back in the day -- but apparently it also was too ambitious for the time and they couldn't pull it off. What again is supposedly "magical" about APFS in comparison? Or how your local storage works nowadays when "the cloud" is omnipresent and the user's actual device just doesn't matter anymore? The local file system is not even important for developers anymore.

Can't wait for iOS 11!

I expect nothing "magical" and I bet that I will still be disappointed with the keynote.
Same. My expectations are zero and I bet even they won't be met
[doublepost=1494360860][/doublepost]I see people in wheelchairs. Obviously appple is going to release a new high tech wheelchair that's so cool even able bodied people will use them. The new fad isn't google glass or stupid **** like that. It's everybody in wheelchairs

Anyone else finding WWDC less exciting and more predicable every year? Although I guess that just may be Apple as a company in general.

MR armchair CEOs find Apple boring... rest of the world is still excited.

Was anyone even bothered about a dark mode pre-iOS 7? Just goes to show how much they messed the design up when everyone's now requesting it (yeah.. I'm "that" guy).

Yawn. Another year, another slew of the world's most boring software. Enough of rows and rows of icons. I don't care, Apple, if your products are very app-centric. I want a weather widget on the Home screen. That is innovative, not another 100% useless-to-everyone app like "Health" and "News." Who reads the news anymore except for IGN and Gamespot? Who needs a Stocks app? Nobody uses these "tools."

Continuity, APFS, Swift, Power Nap, blah, blah, blah. Stop. Just stop. I want my Home screen dynamic and fun. Not static and stale. Make it fun. I want each icon to be alive, much like the banner ads here on MacRumors. Think Times Square with each app vying for your precious attention with active info.

Weather widget, Apple. Weather. Widget.

To be honest i always get so hyped then let down on the keynotes like last year talking about apple music with that annoying lady dancing lol

Sigh. Its just not what it was.

I do like the OS updates, but lately they are just slight updates. I'd like to see an iOS7-like update to things just to shake it up.

No.

But you can not watch if you want.

It's for Apple developers anyway.

My body is ready. It's difficult to believe there are only 27 days to go!

I feel like the rumors this year about iOS 11 have been a bit sparse. Sure the iPad is supposed to be seeing some upgrades, but what are they going to do for the iPhone? The biggest thing they've said is a dark mode, and we don't even know if they'll show that off until the OLED iPhone debuts. What else? I'm hoping for an overhaul to the email app to make it easier to remember to follow up and complete tasks.

What about tvOS, watchOS, and macOS? I guess will see Apple File System on the Mac and some more functionality or design brought over from iOS. Maybe some improvements to the Touch Bar. But I feel like hardly anything is being said about the watchOS and tvOS. I feel like they can't do a whole lot more with the watchOS until the hardware improves. As for tvOS, maybe their streaming service, but that has seemed unlikely lately. On the other hand, everyone and their mom is building a TV streaming service now, so maybe something has changed. What I wonder is if we'll see a 4K Apple TV any time soon, maybe even at this event as a surprise? They'd have to upgrade iTunes content for 4K as well, which would give them something to talk about. But at the same time most people still don't have 4K TVs, and to play games at 4K would require a significant GPU upgrade.

The biggest upgrade will probably revolve around Siri. Perhaps iOS 11 won't have many new features, but deeper Siri everywhere? But Siri is more of a service. I wonder if we'll see other iCloud improvements, along with an upgrade for storage space or drop in price? iCloud Storage pricing hasn't been updated in about two years now, I think. I'm really crossing my fingers for a 500GB option, or an option to family share the storage. It's ridiculous that I use 250GB of my 1TB because there is no plan in between, and yet have to pay for my wife and grandparent's storage plan when we're all in the same family share. Hopefully they give some administrative tools to allocate storage space among family members.

Nope.
I'm excited for WWDC as usual!

Excited for what changes we'll see in iOS 11!
iOS 10 was a big release, including a whole new file system so I want to see if iOS 11 will top it.

Finder for iOS?
Cross App accessible user home directory for iOS?
Terminal with access to Python,Bash & Co. for iOS?
Mouse support for the current iPad generation?

Hmmm, w00t? Nooooo wont happen!
Look Ma, and they wonder why the sales of their "Professional" iOS devices are sinking.
Tsss Tsss Tsss...

I don't think we will see any new ground breaking features for iOS, other than minor GUI tweaks and iCloud additions.

To me the lasts iOS updates was mainly like:
Move a button to right, then move button back to left, change color here and color there, add emojis, etc. Simple stuff that should just be quickly mentioned.

It feels like they don't know to where they want go.
It reminds me of these people with psychological issues, who constantly keeps moving their whole furnitures from one side to the other, back and forth, over and over again, and nothing changes much in their home.

In other words, senseless tweaks without useful value to users.
They should finally start listening to their user base.

At this point, all I want is more stability concerning enterprise stuff. Specifically, binding macs to a domain needs to be more stable. Also one feature I've been wanting forever is a better tool to design a signature in Mail. Otherwise I would be totally happy with under the hood security, stability and performance improvements. I don't really care for flashy stuff.

I used to get excited about WWDC Keynote product and the software update announcements, but mostly for Steve's delivery, his enthusiasm, and how he sold everything. It was exciting, even if it wasn't a great year for Apple product announcements. The Reality Distortion Field was in full effect. Now, the Keynotes are bland, rote... a mere shadow of their former selves. That's even if the stuff Apple announces is awesome. The delivery now is so blase that I just read highlights of the WWDC Keynote rather than watch live, or even follow a live blog. I really miss Steve.
