It doesn't feel like we've had many rumours this year, particularly about iOS 10, so I'm excited to see what's unveiled. But if they don't announce new MacBook Pros I'll be disappointed, regardless of how good the new software looks - the processors are available and it's nearly the back-to-school season; Apple must be really stupid to delay the launch until September/October.

I was overly excited for the March event but that turned out to be relatively boring, so I'm hoping WWDC will be different.
I sense disappointment either way, if they don't announce one or do, and reveal the MBP has gone to USB-C only. My late 2013 MBP has the perfect selection of ports to meet my needs, and knowing I'd have to get adapters just to use a standard USB-A device or read from an SD card if I decide to upgrade is not comforting.

Finder for iPad in iOS 10 please! Also new Macs are a must (obviously).

I just want them to improve Multi-tasking. Revamping the iOS grid for the iPad would be way too much to ask. But improving the existing Split-view/Slide-view is what I'm looking forward to.

I'm not expecting any big earth shaking stuff this WW. Maybe the MBP w/ updated AMD Polaris variant gpu on top end. I do, however, expect next years WW to be the mother of OMG! Apple should be in the new spacely sprockets theater xD . if it were me, that's when you better have one, or more, of those Steve Jobs magic moments. imo

hopefully that clown won't be on the stage again.

After last year I don't think so, he kept stuttering and stumbling he's obviously no good at keynotes. Or he's had some training since.

If the newest version of OS X fixes the bug where disks get ejected on sleep but not reloaded on wake I'd be glad...

If the invitation is any hint, finally, FINALLY Apple will introduce very thin, non-pastel multi-colored something or others. /sarc.

Anybody fancy playing the keynote drinking game with me? Hopefully should make it a little more interesting, at the very least.

You know, whenever there's a buzzword — 'magical', 'Apple makes the best products in the world', 'innovation', 'thinner' ... I could use some help writing up the rules, though, unless there's already a game written. What would justify a shot of hard liquor, for instance?

I'm down. Just glad we aren't taking shots for every time we hear Mandarin being spoken throughout the keynote!

This is make or break. The last 3 keynotes were extremely concerning and disappointing.

THIS. If  doesn't release some new watch band colors, it will be a very disappointing keynote. Here's to hoping for some fruit stripe watch bands and other lame stuff nobody cares about....

Bring on the new Macs! Lets see em Tim, ya fruitcake!

I know it's unlikely to happen but I really hope they unveil Apple Watch 2 this month rather than September. I have held off from purchasing the first generation hoping that the second generation watch is faster and has GPS, phone independence, better fitness applications, and better battery life but I am so ready to have one. In my opinion, it would sell better if it launched now rather than with the new iPhone iterations. Maybe too expensive for many customers to purchase both right before Christmas.

and you want to apologize by introducing desktops that we could fully upgrade?

Yup, the mythical xMac. They'll sell hundreds of those - and if each customer bought AppleCare they might even make a profit. Might as well open-source OS X and save the hardware development costs. The fact that Apple is still making money selling personal computers is very much tied to the fact that they only make non-upgradeable high-end laptops and all-in-ones.

Computers used to be cheap and upgradeable because every component was hopelessly outdated within 18 months. Those days are gone, and if you do sell someone a computer with upgradeable RAM, SSD and PCIe slots you won't see that customer again until 2026. Apple made a terrible mistake in 2011 by selling me an MBP that let you replace the HD with a SSD - the only reason I need to upgrade now is that El Cap broke my USB3 ExpressCard & I don't want to invest in a Thunderbolt dock with TB3/USB-C on the horizon.

A Mac Mini based on the Skull Canyon chipset would be nice - except it would clobber iMac and Mac Pro sales so don't hold your breath.

I'm already disappointed by the keynote and every announcement that hasn't been made for another two weeks.

(note to MR user R3K aka "everyone's apparent dad:" IT'S A JOKE!)

Please.... please.... a "normal" RMacBook Pro 15" with skylake CPUs, plus one USB-C, and the "old" keyboard (not the new one with butterfly, or how is called, keys). Not asking too much... :p

Looking forward to a new version of iOS that will actually work with the 9.7" Pro

WWDC isn't moving to the Apple Campus.
