I think the US have got it good with the timings other than potentially being stuck in work. 10am, nice and early in the day so they dont have too long to wait after getting up to find out. However that means 6pm here in the UK and so a whole day in the office first to draaaag myself through! Roll on home time! Fingers crossed for a live feed

...yea same here!! Initially thought it was on at 5 (just when I leave the office!!) but then someone confirmed it was actually starting at 6 - just when I get home, with dinner on the table!!!

Not sure I will be able to hang on long enough for Apple to post up the video for the event so will probably watch it on Engadget's Live Blog (they post up a word for word blog with all the pics so its pretty much like watching the video!!) and then just watch the actual video once it is on Apple's site.

so anyone know what site we can watch the live stream on?

If apple's not gonna give a live video stream, im guessing nobody else will be able to

So we just hafta wait for some announcement from apple, and hopefully it will be posted in IOS blog

Be a shame if some random jackass starts posting about the event; isnt it better to just avoid the forum and twitter/facebook ?

Would be good if there's a live stream..

What would be Apple's reason for not doing so?

A bright day indeed, though I'm not expecting much from today. If the rumours are true and it's just ... <SNIP>......

Please see post #94 - we're not discussing anything to do with the iphone rumours in this thread....

Thankyou.

Lets see how snarky the Verge is today. Their WWDC live blog was the worst.

which would be the best live blog to follow during the keynote ?
I usually follow engadget but would like to know opinion of people who follow them every year.

Hope the stream doesnt lag for some of us. I had my WWDC stream freeze exactly before the mac pro and after some countless refresh, i was wondering what the heck were they introducing

IMO Engadget are pretty good - I always follow all their Live Blogs for all things Apple! They post up loads of pics and loads of notes - its almost like watching the real video stream as most times, the notes are word for word as to what the speaker is talking about.

You also don't have to keep refreshing their page as the blog gets updated in real time so you can just keep the browser page open and sit back and watch away.............!!

;)

It's pretty pointless to be spoiler free at this point (at least for 5S and 5C anticipators). Almost everything has already been spoiled by the front page 'rumors' already. This is unlike when I was anticipating the late-2012 iMac which rumors about it were extremely scarce.

True, but it heightens the anticipation a bit.. and I think it's more fun to watch an Apple keynote (which are really marketing videos, not product unveils..) without having already seen all the content in blogs/pictures...

Gizmodo's live blog is pretty goo...OH WAIT

I'm in a meeting at the time of the Apple event, but I will only miss the first hour. Is there any place I can start one hour after the show begins and watch it from the beginning?

During the last live stream event (WWDC I think), I had to go out for a short while, and was able to pause the video stream, and re-start on return.

So, IF there is a live stream, it may be possible for you to click on it and watch it from the beginning, time-delayed.

Maybe.

But if there's no live stream, then we're all waiting for it to be posted on Apple's web-site, or iTunes.
