Apple today shared a new video ad promoting its Apple One subscription, which bundles several Apple services together for one monthly price.

In the 30 second spot, Apple gives a quick rundown of the services that are included: Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, Apple TV+, Apple News+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+. "What's in Apple One? The best of Apple," reads the tagline at the end of the video.

There are multiple tiers of the Apple One subscription service with prices that start at $14.95. The highest-tier Premier plan is the only one that includes all of the services in the video, and it is priced at $29.95 per month with access available for up to six family members.

For those curious about the Apple One subscription service, we have a dedicated guide that goes over all of the details.

On the surface, Apple One seems like a pretty good deal. But I wish it was more customizable. For example, I'm already paying for 2 tb of iCloud storage. If I could add on Apple Music to that for an extra $5 a month, it would be worth it to me. I just don't have an interest in their other offerings.

100% agree.

Mix and match…

Yes wish you could pick what you wanted, and the price would be the total for everything picked discounted based on how many you picked

We like the Premier Plan. Apple Music Family plan: $15. Apple News: $10. iCloud 2TB: $10, Apple TV: $5. Sometimes use Fitness. Rarely use Arcade. Seems that it's worth the $30/mo.

The whole point of Apple One is to incentivize people to subscribe to discounted and bundled services that they would never have subscribed otherwise. Offering more customization makes sense from a customer perspective, but not a business one. Apple don’t want to give you discount on services you’re willing to pay the full price anyway.

I’d like more customization, but I doubt we will get more than a few more bundles

But then that wouldn't be Apple One. That would be Apple Two Sixths = Apple One Third 😂

I've been on the family plan for a month now, since I got more HomePods to use Apple Music with. I think it's worth it if you value Apple Music, I was paying for iCloud+ before anyway.

I get Music free through my phone carrier and I pay for iCloud storage, but I just don’t really feel like there’s value for anything behind that.

Fitness, News and TV are very… meh.

If I didn’t get Music for free, I would be using Spotify. Hell, I’m even almost tempted to pay for Spotify anyway because it’s a superior product.

For my purposes, the $15 plan looks like a pretty good value. If Spotify decides to raise their prices, I’ll definitely consider switching to it.
