That’s what they said about emoji's. People hating on this need to get a life. If you don’t like it, don’t use it. But don’t hate on it. Unless of course it’s why you are here. Feel free to thumbs down so we know who you are,
Get a life. Maybe you need to get one given your comment and the fact you seem to be so concerned about other people giving an honest opinion about this. How absolutely hypocritical And childish.

You're 100% correct.

We live in an age of extremes. People on the internet demanding you don't use something just because they don't like it (and they will use it anyway).

I am already tired of AI images. They all look the same with unnatural glow to it.

You're looking at bad generated images just like when we saw bad CGI images. There's hundreds of ways to do and use generated images and dozens of models with different features.

We live in an age of extremes hyperbole.

I honestly don’t recall seeing any comment in this thread where anyone is “demanding you don’t use” this feature.

There's plenty of anti AI hysteria on this thread and this thread, as you know, is nothing compared to the massive amount of deranged hysteria about AI. I have seen comments demanding that "AI" be removed from all any commercial application by numpties who don't know what they are talking about. They watched the Terminator movies and read stupid news articles and think that **** science fiction is really how AI works in the real world.

Some of these people brainwashed by anti AI rhetoric are deliberately being lied to because if they become tech illiterates and don't want to use AI, then their jobs will be shipped to Asia where everyone will be happy to learn AI and take your jobs. Those outsource companies are already rubbing their hands and enjoying western workers going mad refusing to upskill themselves.

Remember blatant lies and **** like this?

"Why Millions Are Deleting Adobe"

When Americans and Europoors were yelling on the internet about Adobe and telling each other to delete Adobe apps what happened?

Adobe subscriptions increased to all time high. All those Asian firms and freelancers are happy to see you lose your jobs because you deleted essential apps.

This is the least interesting part of generative AI but I do think generative cartoons could be helpful as Genmoji at reining in the never-ending addition of Emojii. Get rid of the Emojii keyboard and simply generate a new one for a reaction, with only favorites and recents available to pick from. Scrolling through Emojiis stopped being useful at least 5 years ago.

One of the most valuable parts of emoji is their limitations

I just can’t conceive of anyone I personally know thinking to themselves:

“Gee. I’d really like to be able to generate an image from a text prompt on my phone. In fact, I think that would be so useful I would be willing to buy a new phone and spend even more for the privilege. And I would be totally OK Ith whatever limitations Apple puts on what can be generated even though I’m paying a premium for my phone.”

But I suppose anything is possible.
I’ll be sure to report back when one of my acquaintances utters anything close to the above.

This is what makes me think Apple has truly lost it.

That along with the pitiful Vision Pro, repeatedly bad UI updates, and greed when it comes to RAM and storage

Apple isn’t the Apple of Steve Jobs anymore. It’s directionless and visionless. The only goal is making more money, and quality doesn’t factor in there very much at all

Partnering with OpenAI is like if Apple integrated NFTs into their products. Such a transparent bandwagon jump. It’s jarring

openai is opt-in only. By default all the ai runs on the device. The camera upgrade alone made it worth my while to upgrade to an iphone 16 today.

Why should anyone "get a life?" This is genuinely unimpressive, especially when you look at the large version of the image in the article. The candles are a mess.
looks better than stable diffusion. I generated a dog on there and it had six legs, a vagina, and balls.
