I’m experiencing less visual glitches than 17.6 (that dreaded notification bubble glitch drove me up the wall)

I'm interested to see how well the eye tracking feature works.
If I'm not mistaken, this is already on iPadOS. I didn't find it extraordinary, but I could see myself using it to work my way through interfaces with restricted arm or hand movement, and that it worked even passably impressed me.

Update: I was mistaken! I was thinking of "Head Pointer" in the Accessibility settings on the Mac. I just tried it again and it's even better than I remembered.

Has Apple yet posted a similar, comprehensive PDF of all the new features in macOS 15? (They did this last year for Sonoma, but so far i haven’t seen it for Sequoia)
I could only find the iOS version after the event. But I'm with you – I loved reading through every feature in the past when they'd routinely publish them for every platform.

My uncle works at Nintendo and he said the Switch 2 is going to run iOS 17.

Okay. I get the reference but not sure your point?

If you're referencing my sister-in-law, then it was my brother who installed it on her phone. He keeps up with the betas and upgrades and is more gadget interested than me.

Interesting they don’t list the visual intelligence as a feature. Feels like something they announced last minute. I don’t want to upgrade from a 15PM, but I actually would like to try visual intelligence when it is released.
It’s because they are marketing Visual Intelligence as a Camera Control / iPhone 16 feature, not as an iOS 18 feature.

Yes! Hurray! 🥳

Don't forget removing Siri's ability to shuffle playlists and artists in CarPlay.
Making original Siri even dumber to make AI Siri look better?

I find it funny that this list of features is a PDF and not a web page. Would have been easier to create and more accessible.

Have a couple of relatives on Android, so will be looking forward to the RCS integration into iMessage, really for the pictures being usable, but delivery and read receipts will be nice as well.

"RCS (Rich Communication Services) Message your friends and family who don’t use iMessage over RCS, which brings support for richer media and more reliable group messaging than SMS/MMS as well as delivery and read receipts."
