I bet there's weird music and things that just don't make any sense. And then in the very last episode (or the very last few minutes of each episode) the story is all told to you to explain the nonsense.

M Night Sham is a crook. The 6th sense was good and even then he did exactly what I explained above in the very last few minutes of his film. Good storytelling is shown through story, not read allowed by the narrator.

I don’t think any of these shows are bad.

All HDR and great quality.

Many have a well known cast.

There are some pretty good shows, many with 3 episodes only. What series did you think was amazing with only 3 episodes?

Would I pay $4.99 for this content, probably not. But I get for free for a year, and I’m happy with Apple keeping up the pace of adding new content, similar to Apple Arcade.

Wow you really are that person who spoils the plot of a movie before people have seen it.
Probably not a good idea for you to jump in threads talking about the trailer to something if you don't want "what was in the trailer" spoiled for you.

I think there's a drinking game where you're supposed to sip if an M. Night Shamalyan project description includes the phrase "unknowingly setting a series of strange events into motion."

(A complete sucker when I saw The Sixth Sense the first time.)

Yes. 6th Sense was great. But M. Night Shamalyan is the "Weezer" of movies. Everything he's done is worse than the thing that preceded it.

These shows just got released. Like Hulu, that runs many original shows once a week (Wu-Tang Clan, Handmaids Tale) they often release 3 episodes at first, with the others running once a week. All the shows that Apple has released so far have many more than just 3 episodes. They will run once a week. Morning Show for example has 10 episodes, only the first 3 available right now.

Not my kind of show but I will watch it of course. I can't complain for free. I thought "SEE" was decent and will continue watching that.

Not correct in the slightest.

Apple is choosing which shows they "sponsor", but they don't have any creative influence over the shows. They may draw a line of what is accepted and not accepted. I see this TV effort being their latest way "into people's homes and lives", and I think they realize they have an opportunity to greatly influence this world. The media industry is huge, and every bad-influence show that Apple can pull a viewer away from is a good thing. Too many violence/gun shows out there. Kids don't need to see it. And yes, there is a difference between artistic violence (ie. "See") and raw gang violence.

Maybe he’ll make something worth seeing after 20 plus years
He ruined Avatar with the horrible live-action. I don’t even want to talk about it, that’s how bad it was (and still is.)

More episodes are coming out. They will be released on a weekly basis as opposed to the entire season being released at one time.

I have not seen anything else besides For All Mankind, but as long as the content is creative and pulls me in, then I’ll be happy to pay a monthly subscription until the final season (whenever it comes out.)

You do realize Apple isn't making these shows right? They're just distributing them.
It seems pretty clear that Apple owns the Intellectual Property of these shows as they are exclusive to Apple TV+ so they are not "just distributing" these shows. It appears that creative teams bring proposals to Apple who then approve or don't approve projects; Apple finances the projects; Apple controls distribution, at this point on their exclusive platform; again, Apple likely owns the shows. Seems an awful lot like a studio to me.

Not gonna lie I have 1 year of Apple TV plus but I don’t wanna watch anything it has, for me they are all such boring shows

Whereas this comment was positively fascinating… 🙄

While people are watching this Servant show. I'll be enjoying Mandalorian on Disney+.

God forbid anyone do both, because you can only have one streaming service.

Did you put ANY thought into that, at all?

Great trailer. I'm surprised M.Night allowed this trailer to reveal that the baby is just a doll. Would have been amazing to discover that while watching the series.

This is probably the show that I'm most excited to watch when it's released. Crossing my fingers it's decent.
