Apple need a new CEO. Seriously. Someone likes Steve Jobs or Elon Musk.
No Mac pro, no Mac mini, no iMac, no iPads, no Apple TV services, no Macbook Air, No new Macbook, ... I can't understand what all 66,000 Apple employees have done for years? Building the spaceship? Making watch bands? Expanding fuxxing Apple stores? Apple store experiences are even getting worse and worse.
It is so sad, so sad how Tim Cook is destroying Apple.
I think Steve Jobs was an exceptional CEO, probably the best CEO to have ever lived, but his biggest mistake was in appointing Tim Cook.
Cast your minds back to 1976. When Steve Jobs invented Apple, do you think the thought of who would succeed him be even a twinkling in his eye? No. When you are a genius of the magnitude of Steve Jobs, you are one of a kind. You are impossible to replace.
There was a comment made by either Cook or Ive, I can't remember; one of them said that Steve told them, "Don't do what I would have done; do what you think is right." I can see why Steve said that; he meant follow your instincts, your gut feeling. The problem is, he had too much faith in the instincts of lesser mortals. Speaking as someone who is altogether too arrogant, I find it very hard to understand why people can't see what to me is transparently obvious, and get irritated easily when others cannot grasp what I can see. This is a kind of tunnel vision, which I think Steve Jobs had; for all his vision, what he couldn't appreciate was that the profound vision that he was blessed with and seemed to come so naturally to him was not something that came naturally to most people.
To put it bluntly: power corrupts, and the allure of money and profits overtook Apple and corrupted the bright-eyed hope that Apple offered to so many people with its optimistic vision of a new world of computing. In chasing profits, Cook has subsumed that bushy-tailed optimism, and reduced Apple to the same uninspired corporate penny-pinching that all other tech companies practise. Only this time, Microsoft seems to be taking the ashes of Jobs and creating a phoenix from it.
