Dudes, stop complaining! You knew this keynote will be about MacBooks. The rest will be updated next year when Intel is done with their new chip I understand.

True that they were praising too much the new bar, but hey they are there to sell a product - so calm down.

Most of us who have been following the rumours, knew the outcome of this presentation.

Sir, this keynote was not about Macbooks.
It was about A Macbook without any real new feature other than a gimmicky bar.

Whatever happened to "it just works" with Apple? Have the newest iPhone, sorry, need a dongle to plug it into your expensive new MBP. Want to use those headphones from your iPhone 7? Well, need a dongle for that too. You plaster USB C everywhere on your computers, but stay with the lightning port for the iPhone. Apples software might not be fragmented, but their hardware sure is...

The lineup doesn't seem that bad to me, laptops are end of evolution so the touch bar is a super addition that is going to be copied by everybody. You need a company like Apple to get traction for this what otherwise wouldn't be more than a gadget, touch ID is great for corporate customers.

My iMac is just a year old so i don't need one but i hope to see an upgrade soon.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I need to buy a $40 adapter to connect my iphone to the new Macbook Pro!!!! That's insane.

Ha, there was just an advert on UK TV (ITV) for the Surface Pro.. a nice ad... oh, and offering a free xbox with purchases from John Lewis!!!

This keynote will be remembered..

#disappointed

Agreed. Even worse than the April 2016 keynote with the IPad Pro 9.7 and the new nylon watch bands. Lol

Or how about not being able to connect an iPhone 7 with a brand new MacBook , without the use of an adaptor.

What a total disaster. I am not going to repeat what everyone else has said already.

One other thing that annoyed me though, was when Schiller talked about the new LG display, he called it a 5k display. I got a bit excited - how did they manage to connect 5k from a single thunderbolt 3? But then I looked at the Apple store and he was lying, it is actually a 4k 21" display, total rubbish.

Edit: I was wrong there is also a 5k display

It's funny how Tim Cook said let me show you when introducing the MacBook. I thought he'll be demoing the new MacBook, instead he just showed a video made by an advertiser. Does this guy even know how his product works or use any of them?

Really???

I hope that it was just a slip and not a prepared lie...

Sorry, I was wrong. There is also a 5k display in the shop which I missed the first time. So now again I am wondering how they did it, thunderbolt 3 has hdmi 1.2 which only goes up to 4k at 60Hz. Have they dropped the refresh rate, or perhaps it is using some proprietary protocol and not hdmi?

Apple need a new CEO. Seriously. Someone likes Steve Jobs or Elon Musk.

No Mac pro, no Mac mini, no iMac, no iPads, no Apple TV services, no Macbook Air, No new Macbook, ... I can't understand what all 66,000 Apple employees have done for years? Building the spaceship? Making watch bands? Expanding fuxxing Apple stores? Apple store experiences are even getting worse and worse.

Apple has become Microsoft ... and big blue ... the very company they made us loath ... yuck

After years of no product updates, a downward sales trend, a dour earnings call a few days ago full of dodging and excuse-making, a very ambitious product unveiling from MS the next day, all Apple has to show for all this time, is a TV app and one product update of very limited use...

Wake up Apple.

This was the first Apple presentation I've actually watched but the whole thing seemed a bit stiff and robotic to me. I was expecting more. Oh well.
