Apple need a new CEO. Seriously. Someone likes Steve Jobs or Elon Musk.

No Mac pro, no Mac mini, no iMac, no iPads, no Apple TV services, no Macbook Air, No new Macbook, ... I can't understand what all 66,000 Apple employees have done for years? Building the spaceship? Making watch bands? Expanding fuxxing Apple stores? Apple store experiences are even getting worse and worse.

I totally agree. So much of the hardware line is so terribly overdue for upgrades. We use a combination of mac minis and iMacs in my business and many are due for upgrade. But the current mini is far slower than the quad core i7's we have now and the iMacs have a fancy display, but otherwise..

Was that reference to the LG display the final nail in the coffin of hope for an Apple branded display? That said, I don't really care any more after that disappointing presentation. That Track Bar thing looks fiddly to use, but I guess time will tell.

Everything is terrible all the time. Apple is as doomed today as 20 years ago. Pick the smallest thing they did most recently and make it somehow the ONLY thing they've done, as proof that they do nothing. Cherry pick details, and pout.

I'll be enjoying my fast new 15" MBP in the meantime, with GIANT trackpad :) Wish they'd released a model in between the last one and this. But I do NOT wish I'd bought it!

The Touch Bar looks way more useful than anyone had been mocking up. Very nice. If touching keys is useful, touching this is more so. Faster than mousing around, and adaptive. Can't wait.

Yes, it was a small event. Some days have no event. The sun rises.

(Mac Pro? Wasn't coming today, we knew that, but it does deserve at least a quiet "leak" that it's coming next year with the next gen of CPUs. Don't leave us hanging!)
Thank you! With the overwhelming sea of negativity on here, I almost thought I was the only one impressed by the new MacBook Pros.

Those new screens look absolutely fantastic, the much bigger trackpad is awesome, and the totally adaptive TouchBar seems like an elegant timesaver to me. Quite possibly one of those tools that after using them for a while, you wonder how you got by without them before.

That's not even mentioning TouchId, the serious graphics improvements, and the nice reductions in size and especially weight. Can't wait to check these new laptops out in person.

They have apparently finally killed that 13" non-retina (SuperDrive) MBP.

I agree 100%, things have not been the same since Steve Jobs passing. Apple has turned into a boring company focusing on their one great product, the iPhone. The sad thing is the iPhone has also been lagging. After more then 20 years of loyal service with Apple I am sad to say that I will soon have to leave. Tim Cook is slowly undoing everything that Steve Jobs did. He does nothing but make bad decisions. Instead of spending all that money and resources building a Apple car he should have been improving their line-up of Macs and iPhone. This is the second year in a row that I have chosen not to upgrade my iPhone, it's just not worth it. Time Cook should really step down, take his money and let someone else who is more qualified run Apple. In addition I'm happy that he came out, but he shouldn't have done it in the manor he did. All he did was use it to increase his popularity. He made us look at one hand while he was doing something with the other hand, he basically took our attention towards something to keep us occupied. The truth is Time Cook is awful at running Apple and should step down before he runs this business so far into the ground nobody will be able to restore it to the level that Steve Jobs did. Oh, yah don't watch this video, it's a waste of time!
