Even when I worked at an apple retail store, through 7 holiday seasons, I always rolled my eyes at the gift guides.

Right? My iPhone 6S+ still works perfectly well with iOS 12. I've not noticed any degredation... okay maybe the battery a bit, but my phone is also over 3 years old...

6+, got a new battery this year....best $29 I've spent in awhile.

Only reason I am considering a XR is to get Bands 12 and 71 from T-Mobile.

They don't fit my ears. At all. As in pain-causing. The old round ones are perfect. That's why I bought a 10.5 iPad the week before the second coming (the 11"). Really liking the 512 (actually 470)GBs, but the display really shows the finger prints unlike my ol' Air 1.

Yeah, those upstanding folks at Google are so much better.

I'm not going to go through it with you, but they fixed that issue with slowing phones and I'd advise taking care of your stuff better.
