What was the cute ad in the last year?Yea yea....we hear that every time Apple creates a cute and memorable ad. "Best ad in years!" Less than 1 year later....."Best ad in years!"

I see it as pandering over-priced items to toddlers. What's next? Ads on cereal boxes?
Slow SD card? You do realize you can play 4K video from an SD card without any frames dropping right? Wouldn't it be nice if Apple gave us the option of having it instead of saying NO to everyone? Every phone has "live photo's". Its called video and its not a new feature. And for some reason only the 6S and 6S plus get live photos. Like really the 6 hardware cant do that? Samsung is already using pressure sensitive touch screens and has a water proof phone without any doors over ports. Ugh, I just hope Apple does something big with the iPhone 7. This is the first time im really considering making that switch. Im still keeping my iPhone 6 though just in case!Honest question. Why in the world would you want a painfully slow SD card? Is it just the cult of personality around it? Is it the fact that everyone on Android cries over it without truly understanding the importance it once had, which was in phones with incredibly limited storage - and only one storage option available to purchase - and the ability to install apps to it? It's been removed from almost all of those phones now for a reason... speed and realibility. They're slow. Apps continue to increase in size, and an app on an SD card takes forever to load and performs terribly. For standard file storage, it's never been easier to offload your data to computers or the cloud. The SD card's time has come and gone, and it was brief.
And on part 2... yes. People really do like those features. Because they are features. Live photos are fantastic and really add depth to an otherwise normal photo. This is especially evident when you have children, as what they do is often clumsy and funny, and their reaction to you noticing them is sometimes hilarious. 3D Touch... it just needs to be used more. It's another way to interface with a device, like introducing a 2-button mouse. How many buttons do we see on a mouse today? 6? 7? Adding a functional input method is never a bad thing.
The other stuff you mention is hardware. An OLED screen? Hardware. Yeah, would be really cool... but a bit troubling with screen burn-in being an issue when this OS is forever a static grid of icons, whereas Android has the app drawer that serves the same function but can be hidden... so I'll gladly take the best LCD on the market for now. Better battery life? Hardware. And already pretty solid, to be honest... one of the best when constantly in use, and definitely the best in the real world because of how well iphones maintain power while standing by. Water proof? Hardware. Yeah, it'd be cool. But at what cost does it come? Doors over the ports are obnoxious.
Typical sheep comebackTrolls! Nom, nom, nom.

New? Sesame Street comes to HBO first now. HBO is already on Apple TV.

Because he wants cookies fresh and warm from the oven.
So what you're saying is, no SD card slot is better than having one? Where is the logic in that? News flash; you can store photos, videos, music, and documents on them and they work quite well. Not sure what phone you tested. And lets see, a bunch of photos put together that create motion with sound? WOW!!! Thats waaaay different than a video... Right? Nothing confusing about live photos(video) at all. What's confusing is how some(sheep) are impressed by it.You do realize how little throughput you actually need for 4K video... Right? And you do realize how fast the SSDs inside phones are now as well... Right? We're talking a maximum UHS-II at 324 MB/sec vs just shy of 2 GB/sec read speed in a 6s. SATA II Vs SATA III. And I highly doubt there's more than a few hundred putting UHS-II in their phones. You'd be lucky if they're using Class 10 at 10 MB/sec. Speed matters, when we're talking of gigs of volumes to read through...
Not a single Samsung phone offers pressure sensitive screens... And no. Videos are not Live Photos. They're videos. They require exponentially more storage, and are not a single normal photo otherwise. Don't go getting confused having no understanding of them and then calling other people sheep.

Yes, I do store files on SD cards. I edit at multiple workstations and different studios. When there isn't any WIFI, It would be nice if I could put the card in my phone and share the files when needed. My Android friends do this frequently and yes, this feature actually makes life easier like a real feature should. But I guess because you dont use them, nobody else should either. You go ahead and keep playing with your useless Live Photos though. I'm sure it helps you get through your day.Yes. Yes I am. SD cards are useless. I believe I already stated this and we could've saved some time. They're unnecessary and pointless, something that harkens back to 8 GB phones and an OS that took 5. Do you store data on SD cards for your PC and laptops too? No? Well ok then, Captain Logic.
And yes. Live Photos are way different than videos. I'm sorry you're utterly clueless. Megapixel count and quality are one of the things that differ greatly, for one. 1920x1080 is 2.1 megapixels. So do you want. 2.1 megapixel photo and the lack of detail therein? Or a much larger one with more detail? Then there's 4k, which is still only 8.4. And while we're getting to acceptable photo quality, now we're forcing space concerns and still hamstringing the camera for absolutely no reason.
Keep calling people sheep, though. Being totally uneducated, confused on what you speak of and regurgitating things you heard someone else say doesn't make you that, at all. But only in bizarro world.

Yes, I edit music, videos and photos. And no, my phone isn't a hot spot. Not everyones is either. Thanks for acting like you know everything about my life though. But you're wrong. SD cards serve more purpose than you think. So wrong again. You edit what? Nothing?
Please. Pretending to have a use case or an area with no wifi - yet you're holding your phone in your hand which is a wifi hotspot - is a laughable use case.
Go ahead and keep playing with your SD card. They're useful for proper cameras and camcorders. Not phones.

Using a phone as a hot spot requires an additional fee depending on which carrier you use. Im still on the unlimited data plan. So yes, my phone is not a hot spot. Along with anyone else thats not paying for it. Yes multiple workstations. Is this really that hard for you to understand? Haha, guess what? Other people want different things on their phones. Just because you dont doesn't mean its wrong. Look at you, conversating with a troll! If your phone has an SD card slot and was made in the past decade. It's a hot spot.
Thanks for proving nothing. Quit wasting everyone's time being a troll, and playing make believe. Multiple workstations, no intranet. Smartphone, no hotspot. Only in a trolls world.
Knowing any of that doesn't actually require any service or equipment. General technology/entertainment news suffices. But given you're not that familiar with this area or have much stake in it, why bother asking the question?sorry, i don't have hbo or an apple tv or any tv actually
