I wonder if Liam has cousins that are quietly building the next model... you know, instead of the poorly paid Chinese workers.

Yes. Replace the Chinese workers with robots. Then, not only will they not have to face poor working conditions, but have no money either!

I'm sure they much rather be unemployed.

this advert genuinely made me chuckle out loud!

I don't care what the alleged "motive" is. I care about the consequence: a cleaner environment.

THIS. I genuinely don't care if the motive is money, the environment, or if it just gets tim cook hard. The end result is the same: more renewables

Another response Siri gave me: "Liam. That guy. Don't get me started."

And, "Liam and I were discussing reincarnation the other day. I wonder what it would be like to come back as a waffle maker."

o_O

By the way, you're supposed to ask Siri, "Tell me about Liam" for these. There's also some new Earth Day related "What are you doing?" responses.

Asked via "Who is Liam?" and "Tell me about Liam" multiple times and each time got a different response relating to Liam the robot and Apple and recycling. Seems to be working fine.

Anyone else get incredibly annoyed by the "more ads by Apple" pop up on youtube while watching? I find it incredibly distracting, and you can't close it then rewind as it just pops up again.

There's no way this looks like any of the phones on the market right now. Did Apple just tease the iPhone 7/7 pro?

nah, it has a jack

Liam is a prototype. So there are currently no Apple robots disassembling iPhones at the moment. Apple clearly stated this. So why is everyone reporting everywhere the opposite? P R O T O T Y P E !

It seems for the purposes of people's comments it doesn't really seem to matter one way or another.

So you think it is better to the workers to have no jobs and thus no salaries at all?

Yes, saving them by starving them; they'll be so grateful. Just like the Iraqi and Syrians are "happy" right now.

The good ol' "white savior" complex where you condescendingly pass judgement on other countries/culture/government and even their lives, filtering all of this through your own "cultural filter" till there is only an insipid unrecognizable mess left. Then, you off course sneer at this pap...

I asked Siri about Liam and it came back with the name's origin plus a link to Liam Neeson. Maybe that's the funniest part of all.

I just asked it "how long would it take to get to the nearest star?" and it said "here's the traffic" and opened Maps

Edit: it did it quickly though!
