Someone should make a PowerPoint Presentation to help convince Apple that Tim Cook should not be CEO.

A PowerPoint Party. Everyone comes with a presentation they made to share and it's usually on wacky topics to make it fun. For example, I made one recently on "Is it a Snapple Fact or a Fact I Made Up?" and had the audience participate in guessing after each fact.

Does nobody see that this is actually a funny idea and they don't take it so seriously either? Just check slide 22 - the dude has pants that are FAR too long lolz. I think they know what they are doing and for the younger people this is funny to show to their parents.

Every kid knows this is the wrong approach. College requires it. Don't express any interest or excitement whatsoever.

Can I still send this to my parents if I'm in my 30s?

Oh God, here we go!"But mom and dad I need for college and I need a pair of Apple AirPods as well!"Good grief it’s that time of year again

I read the slides. They're trying to shill the base MacBook Air model ($999 retail) with 256 GB of storage. Cursory glance at Best Buy shows laptops with 1TB of storage can often priced at even lower price points like $799 (plus the storage is upgradable while it's not on Macs). Getting the same 16GB/1TB combo in a Mac is $1399 minimum.

They also have arguments against PCs listing the need to buy antivirus software, which hasn't been needed for a long time now as Windows Defender is built-in to Windows for free and it actually gets good ratings.

Also a bunch of slides about Apple Intelligence and how that helps the student write correct sentences (lol). Microsoft has Copilot so that's not a big differentiator.

"Get a summer job and buy your own Mac with your parents permission." would be a better presentation.

Apple has now taken down the 7-minute video (The Parent Presentation | How to convince your parents to get you a Mac | Apple) from their YouTube channel, most likely due to most audiences finding it cringe. A reupload can be found here.

Anyone complaining about a "PowerPoint" is missing the point. They're trying to get those who don't have a Mac to buy one. Anyone without a Mac cannot see it in Keynote, but they can see it in PowerPoint most likely or even Google Slides.
