I had the silicone case for my 6 Plus and just bought another one for my 7 plus. Case never fell apart. Feels like new still and did a great job protecting my phones. I also like the grip.

So I picked up a silicone and the lint collection really is annoying. Like really annoying. So I took it off. Might try it again tomorrow.

I have the saddle brown leather for my black iPhone 7 and love it. Great form factor and feels great in the hand. I plan on getting the ocean blue silicone case. It's a really nice color. Doesn't the silicone "break-in" and become less of a lint collector and less greasy?

Yep. I had the turquoise silicone case for my 6S and after awhile it had such a nice grip. I love the ocean blue as well. Will get it soon.

Hahaha it's true! I am a case junkie so I tried so many cases for the 6S until I found the silicone case. Best case I've used. Plan on using it for the 7 too but right now I'm using a caseology case which is really nice.

Yep, so true! The cases are so nice and you can't go wrong with OEM Apple products in my opinion.

Agreed. What color is your phone? I've got a gold 7 and I think that the ocean blue would look really good with it.

I've got a matte black 7 and thinking the same thing about the ocean blue case. I just ordered it!

Delivery for my ocean blue silicone case was bumped up to today from tomorrow. Yay! I guess it helps to have a distribution center fairly close by.

My 6s + Stone case has more battle marks around the corners than expected, but otherwise is still perfectly fine and looks quite good.

I'm running with the Jet Black and Apple White silicon case. I love the contrast!

Picture?

I had both leather and silicone for my 6 Plus, and have both for my 7 Plus.

I change them out from time to time. As for cleaning, etc I just use rubbing alcohol on the silicone cases; that removes any grime or dirt or whatnot. As someone said earlier, the silicone case will feel greasy after a while---mine does that as well, but 20 seconds with a cloth and some rubbing alcohol will restore the case to a new feeling.

As for leather, I clean mine with leather cleaner; some dye will remove, but not enough to make the case appear discolored.

I've also used rubbing alcohol in a pinch to clean the leather case, and made the leather feel tacky.

I've never had the issues of peeling with either case, or corners tearing, etc.

Also, my 6 Plus has no scratches, scuffing, etc on the backs or other areas covered by the Apple cases.

As far as protection goes, I never damaged my 6 Plus in two years of owning it, and I've dropped it on my concrete garage floor a few times. Cases were unharmed, as well as the phone. Admittedly, the case is minimum protection, so certain types of falls are going to damage the phone. My wife had a Product Red leather case on her 6, dropped it in a parking lot of a mall and really tore up a corner of the case, but the phone was unharmed.

Which brings me to a con of the leather case: it can be damaged and unless you can live with a chewed up looking corner of the case, you have to toss it. With the silicone, it doesn't get harmed as easily.

Alrighty, I received my ocean blue silicone case today. Thumbs up to Apple for the free standard super fast shipping. I placed the order yesterday and received the case today.

The ocean blue color is nice. It's a toned down medium blue. It looks great on my matte black iPhone 7. It feels great in the hand and more silky feeling than my old lime green case for the iphone 6. (but still enough grip, but not too much).

I also have an Apple saddle brown leather case, which is very nice, but feel like I need to be more careful with it, so that's where the silicone case comes into play. The silicone case will be my everyday "beater" case and the leather will be my occasional "dress" case.

Same, going with white battery case on my jet black. Moving from a 6S+, the battery was not what I had hoped :)

I picked up the Ocean Blue silicone case for my matte black 7 plus. The color is awesome but for some reason with the black bezel and screen, it reminds me of a 5C. Anyone else notice that?

Nope, although I haven't paid too much attention to the 5Cs, but aren't they shiney?

Same situation, might be returning my cocoa silicone case. Lint is too annoying, might switch to the storm gray leather case

I'm not experiencing this with my ocean blue silicone case. Maybe the darker colors attract lint?

I had the Apple Silicone case on my iPhone 6 from day one. After about 18 months of use, the silicone had thinned so much that it started to tear around the corners. I finally retired the case after a 2 inch gash appeared along the back.

That said, it didn't stop me from ordering another silicone case to use until the iPhone 7 released. Now, I'm using the Sea Blue silicone case on my JB 7. I'll be interested to see if this case wears like the original did. Time will tell...

I had my iPhone 7 black silicone case for one week and the bottom lip teared on both the left and right side. I did take my phone out of the case a lot but it should still last longer than that. I had it replaced by Apple because it bothered me for a week old case.

My iPhone 6S one did the same but lasted a bit longer before tearing.

Picture below of the white silicon case on both the jet black and rose gold.
