You do know that battery case isn’t ceritified by Apple? One of the reasons why I opted for the official one, I myself do not want to damage my battery ordering 3rd Party battery cases you never really know the long term effects. No I did not pay full price if you research you can find it cheaper online.

Love the battery case, but mine is NOT Apple. I am sporting an iPhoneX case with 6,000 mAh for $26 made by vProof. It easily allows me to use the iPhone heavily, throughout the day, and having the iPhoneX fully charged and about 50% left in the case at night.

Being $~100 cheaper is nice.
The only caveat is that the Lightning port is ONLY for charging, Lightning earpods do not work with the case on. But, for $26 this is a pretty minor inconvenience - I just use my Airpods instead.

Everything I needed to know: $129

Duh because it wasn’t released not too long ago, also you can find it cheaper elsewhere and you can just wait until it gets cheaper. Who buys new Apple products on release day anyways? Prices always decline.
[doublepost=1551302175][/doublepost]This guys sounds like he’s paid for every Apple product in full retail price. He knows how to shop for sure.

Everything you need to know. $130.00 for a simple battery case.

Another overpriced Apple product.
Another innovation brought to you courtesy of Tim Cook.

I only own apple products, but Apple deserves the some flack over the price of this case!!! The case only has a total of 2.738mAh?? If you are unable to see that Apple products are not overpriced, then unfortunately you have been brainwashed!

LOL dude I get almost 3 days on my XS Max before I have to actually charge my phone, not sure where the brainwash is coming from. Sit down. Also paid $98 from Best Buy’s with my reward certificates.

Yesterday, Everything Apple Pro posted a video stating that he's switching to the Samedung Galaxy S10+, and then went on to give his reasons why.

While overall this video sure sounded like a list of reasons why you shouldn't leave Apple, one thing that sticks out to me (and why I'm posting this here), is that he's claiming that he can't make it through a single day on an XS Max with the Apple Battery Case.

...I can make it through a day or more with just the XS and I am the heaviest user of anyone I know, IRL or just online (judging by their complaints of battery life). I bought the battery case for those extreme usage days, like all day trips on the GPS or shooting photos all day, or shooting a concert in 4K. Dude needs to put his phone down once in a while. :D

"Everything You Need to Know" - it's a battery case for the XS and XS Max, what else is there to know?
Don’t let your stupidity and lack of imagination limit your curiosity.

Summation, subtraction, multiplication and division. What else is there to know about math?

Apple in January launched Smart Battery Cases designed for the iPhone XS, XS Max, and iPhone XR. The Smart Battery Cases are designed to add additional battery life to Apple's newest iPhones.

Priced at $129, the Smart Battery Cases come in either black or white and are made from the same material as Apple's silicone cases. From our hands on article:

How does it work?

The Smart Battery Cases are similar in design to a silicone case but with an extra bump on the back that houses the battery pack. While attached to the iPhone, the Smart Battery Case functions like an external battery pack, providing additional power to the iPhone.

A Lightning connector built into the case connects to the Lightning port in the iPhone, but Lightning access remains available due to an additional Lightning port in the case itself.

When you have the Smart Battery Case on your iPhone, your iPhone will use all of the charge in the case before expending its own battery.

What's the capacity?

Each of the Smart Battery Cases features two 1,369mAh battery cells inside. Because there are two battery cells wired together, the cases run at a higher voltage that offers 10.1Wh of energy, making them higher capacity than previous battery cases introduced for iPhone 6s and 7.

iPhone XR user here. I bought one in february. Doesn’t work anymore. Justo stop recharging from nothing.

Does anyone who has this case ever noticed that the compass app will not work at all. Been having problems with the compass freezing for months - tried everything, restall etc.

On a thought, I removed the case and magically the compass jumps straight back to life.
