I am so not convinced that this is a legit Apple website :

- Website is in ASP (Microsoft technology), when Apple.com is not
- Website has the old Apple.com light gray bar at top
- They don’t have my ID from Apple.com
- You can already report feedback on every product @ apple.com/feedback
- I’ve been redirected to an external website that had an error with IIS and displayed a "cannot display page" similar to the one in Internet Explorer 4, 5 and 6

Hum… I know I still cannot prove it with those arguments, but all in all, this isn’t an Apple website for me until I see proofs.

Edit : However, it does say that it’s Apple that registered it in the WHOIS information.

I love these company's that expect you to do a survey for free.
I got the invite and promptly ignored it.

So what you've just done is brag about the fact that you can't be bothered to help a company improve the products that you spend your own hard-earned money on. Okay then....

I just took their survey, and it basically asked a bunch of general questions about the Apple products I own.

Interesting, though was the last page where it asked me to finish setting up my profile. There are spaces for my name, full address, phone number and whatnot, and at the top of the page it reads:

*All fields are required for incentive fulfillment purposes.

Wait, what? Incentive fulfillment? Are they going to mail me a 20% off coupon or something? Weird. Anyone else getting this?

I didn't notice this. All I noticed was where it said they may want to conduct a personal interview, on the page where I was invited to create a Pulse account.

I've personally complained about glossy screens every time I visit an Apple store

I'm sure the people working in the stores making barely over minimum wage really appreciated you complaining about something they have zero say in.

Just got an email for this survey and followed the link. After asking my age, gender, location and how long ago I bought my first apple product, it asked me just one question... "what is the one thing that you think Apple should improve, and why?". That was it! I guess I didn't fit the demographic that they were targeting.

This is not new. Some surveys provide you with iTunes gift card codes to use as payment for parts of the survey.

Most surveys are not an open forum for complaints. They tend to ask specific questions about certain components and how well you like/dislike the feature.

For those who want to complain or provide constructive critisism then just use the feedback link.

This is really cool.

I got this about a week ago. Pretty straight forward survey followed by "What would you tell an Apple Engineer." Mostly people complaining about iTunes.

Means nothing to me.... made a comment to Steve Job's email back in October over the shabby treatment I felt that my partner got in Norfolk Va Store back then... never expected a personal reply from Steve... but would have expected a reply from one of assistants...

Not like a survey that I took with AT&T back in February... within days I got an email from AT&T almost begging me to call the local district manager to solve my dislike of my experience...

Not that I am a hard ass when it comes to shopping a retail store... I work retail as well... Just don't blow smoke up my you know what... Gone are the days from the Apple Store retail stores of seasoned staff that are there to truly help you....

Thanks to the Net... and the bottom feeders that want only the lowest cost and no taxes - though in most states they still owe the taxes... Because of them customer service is now lost... :(

Hard to compare sending an email to the CEO of a company and filling out a survey. Do you think the result would have been the same had you sent an email to the CEO of AT&T?

Haven't gotten the evite... maybe there is a reason LOL

But really been a Mac fan since way back when.... still using my .mac email addreses - and miss the "free" software in my directory with Mobile Me... as well as the Greeting Cards and such....

I submitted my survey yesterday! What a cool program. Saying that Apple actually takes the time to read all of the comments.

EDIT: I signed up for the account too! I wonder if I will receive another survey? I guess my answer is located somewhere in time.

Fair question... in the case of ATT.. I found out that out that bought from not from ATT but one of their franchises.. With my experience with my MBA back in October and my email to Steve Jobs - I did not expect a reply from from him personally - but was hoping for a reply from his staff...

In the end it is about the experience.... got a mailing from Micro Center after I bought my iPad 2 asking to rate my experience. I am sure that if it was negative in any way I would have heard back from Micro Center.

Biut that is the difference between seasoned sales staff and rent a "salesperson"... I see it in the folks we have been hiring of late. :( Long gone is honest help....

i like my glossy screen's

PS the site looks fake...

The email came from Marketresearch@apple.com
It looks pretty official, here's a screenshot. I cut off the bottom because it is a link to my invite.
If it is a scam, it would be huge because it asked for our Apple ID and password.

No you just have to go about it in the correct way and emailing a CEO isn't one of them.

Had you of gone and talked to a store manager or called Apple customer service I'm sure you would have received your response.
