Apple Sore told me that they dont know if they will have them tomorrow in stores

This does seem like a strange launch, for sure. Very weird to be doing it on the same day as the 
Watch. Hopefully the guy I spoke with at the Arrowhead store was correct, and it really is there tomorrow morning. I'll be really bummed if not.
I am most annoyed by the Apple Online Call Centers which answer when I tried to call the stores directly. (I tried calling both the Arrowhead and Scottsdale stores to inquire about stock availability.) Both of the people that answered--one a lady and one a man, not that that matters, I guess--were totally clueless. The lady told me that only "special" stores were getting them. When I asked what stores were the "special" ones, she said they didn't know and that I should just order one. Um, what? The man I spoke to actually told me that the new MacBook wasn't being released tomorrow--in fact, he sounded like he didn't even know what the product was--and it was just "coming soon" per the web site. Dude, I can read the website. What is the point of these Apple operators if they don't know anything?

I would start by doing a search of if its available for pickup in your area. If you are lucky then you choose that option and grab it for tomorrow.
If not seems liking rolling the dice to get it delivered early next week is best bet. Just delay the instant gratification for a few more days (this is what I am telling myself).

Are you planning on being at the store when they open?
Also, this is purely speculative, but my guess is the gold macbook will be the first to sell out. If that's the one you want, I'd definitely suggest being at the store earlier rather than later.
I think the best thing you can do is try to order when the online store opens back up, and if it shows as being available for in-store pickup then do that. If not, order for delivery.
really? Im pretty sure that the early adopters (like most of the people on this forum) would go for the space gray....I think gold is more for the people that won't buy it on the first day....but who know really...

I feel like I've stayed up this late, I've earned the right to stay up, wait 2 hours after the servers crash to see that I can't get it tomorrow, and complain about whatever other great injustice I am sure to suffer before finally going to bed. I've earned this experience, and I won't be denied.

Agreed... I have my agenda in front of me now:
1. Order 1st watch to pick up in store
2. Order watch 2 and 3 to be delivered
3. Schedule try on appointment for first thing AM tomorrow
4. Order rMB (as this will sell as the least fast)
Yeah I'm legitimately psyched, I'm going to try not to complain too much, at this point I don't expect to have it tomorrow so I'll be pleased if I do but not disappointed if I don't.
Exactly. I don't have much else to do tomorrow so I will have fun trying to track this down. If not, oh well, I'll get it when I get it.
Good luck to you as well. Just make sure to switch Apple ID's in case they only allow one watch per customer, that the advice my business rep gave me earlier this evening.
I'm going to Scottsdale at 10am when they open. I'll let you know if they have them or not.
Hey thanks a lot, I teach a class at ASU until 11 AM so I will head there then, it would be great to know if its a worthwhile trip!
