Nice. I would grab one of those stands for my drawer. I keep my Watch in my nightstand as I don't trust my cats from knocking it off the top.
Personally, I don't think the "pricing" app is easier than the old iPad 2 displays. I really liked the iPad displays. Maybe I'm in the minority on that...
Hang on. You paid $35? Just order straight from Spigen. I paid £9.49 for the stand and the P+P was free!
Yes, including next day shipping it was around $35, like I said before. I received it less than 24 hrs after clicking purchase. So I ended up paying more for the shipping than the actual product. Silly, I know, but I wanted to have it before I went on vacation the following day.
Yeah those smart signs were really colorful.Good to read that Apple is de-cluttering its stores. They were getting far too lively, with all the colors and such. Grey aluminum and cold glass is what customers want apparently. The stores already resemble churches and by making them even more sober they'll become proper Apple temples.
These are apps though not canned demos that you can't get out of. If you want to play with the product and never look at pricing you don't have to open the app.
It probably damages the silicone.Question: What makes the dock incompatible with the Link Bracelet? Is it the weight?
and they are iPad 2's with non-retina screens! It's not good for Apple to put so many obsolete products on their product tables. They also makes the tables very busy. One of the ideas is that the consumer is USING the product while learning about it. Also takes away some of the confusion about the Smart Signs: so many customers didn't understand that they were not iPads for sale. Plus the new system frees up table space for more products. It's a win all round.
The magnet on the magnetic charger is too weak to hold the Steel Watch with Link Bracelet. (If it is too strong it pulls out the back cover of the Watch.)why does the box show its not compatible with the link bracelet? too heavy?
They are not simple to Apple considering the crazily fluctuating foreign exchange rates in the recent year. Apple Store is global and they need to have a unified easy way to change prices if they need to.I actually preferred the printed signs that pre-dated the iPad displays. They were simple and elegant and gave the price. Wouldn't mind if they returned to those with maybe a tagline to the effect of "See Pricing App on device for more product information and pricing of custom configurations." It's fine to have more details available in app on the device, but I'd prefer to just see prices displayed for quick comparisons.
Now if only NightStand mode on the Apple Watch worked like a little clock. They need to make it have an option for
1. Always on!
2. Change the brightness levels!
Who wants to reach over and try to find a watch to tap in the middle of the night to see the time, I sleep near the middle of a king size bed, my arm doesn't reach that far!! Also when I do hit it, it lights up so much in the room!! Its way to bright!!! Give us the option to adjust the brightness levels to our environment!! It's so simple Apple, you think you would have thought of it.
Best Buy in Florence, KY had watches on display today, and third-party bands, and third party rubber-lined metal "guards" that both protect the watch and, if you choose, change its color. For $29 each my space gray sport watch can now be silver or red when i want to mix it up a little.Really happy to see 3rd-party Watch accessories show up in stores...
$30? Not bad for being sold in the Apple Store. Doesn't beat my much sleeker Spigen aluminum one for $20 though.
Also, it looks like Apple may just continue to stick with contract subsidized pricing despite the carriers phasing them out.
Yeah, it will definitely be very interesting to see what they decide. I personally find it weird that they've waited this long; it should have been changed for the 6 and 6Plus IMO. They had a perfect opportunity to change the pricing model as well with their store revamp. The real test will be next month at the iPhone 6s intro. Apple could list the full prices with a *Carrier financing available caveat underneath.
