Thanks, missed that.
So no buy for me then regardless of price or anything else as I shoot with tele like 90% of the time..

Folds and thin phones with high prices and big compromises.. Maybe in another ten years the compromises are less.

Yeah Camera wise Foldables will likely never be as good as slab phones. Space is just too tight and costs would be even higher

Dear fellow poster: I am not included in your “we” universe.

Apple delivers what they deliver. Like the product then buy it or else not.

We were so happy with TouchID… now we are stuck forever with a hideous cut-out in a beautiful screen. Steve would have never allowed for that poor decision.
When you use an android with finger sensor it feels SO fast and nobody is complaining about not being safe. Just Apple scare-tactics.
We were not completely ecstatic with Touch ID. It was very good, not great. Face id is a huge leap and I find it amusing that Steve contacted you from the afterlife to communicate a “poor decision”.

You encapsulated the different philosophical differences between iOS and android users perfectly. “Fast” doesn’t matter if it’s safe or not.

I don't mind it on an iPhone, at least it has some functionality. Now, the Mac on the other hand.... I still can't believe they put a notch.

What’s wrong with the notch? You do realize you, the user, can get rid of it completely, right?

While most won't agree and Apple would not admit it, both the notch and now the Dynamic Island are both highly successful styling cues.

It's hard to imagine that Apple will abandon these design elements that have made their smartphones instantly recognizable as iPhones.

Interesting how long this will take to solve (we’re at almost 10 years, if you take the iPhone X as a starting point). A tricky technical problem for sure.

Apple has done a brilliant job in convincing people that it’s a challenging technical problem.

All the while in the world of Chinese smartphones this “problem” was solved long ago.

Like so many advancements in the smartphone space, once Apple catches up they use the tried and tested Apple dialog: we didn’t do it first, we did it better.

The faithful love that line.
