For one, me. Anyone that's ever ordered same day from them knows. However, it does not specifically state that at checkout at all. Just says, SAME DAY. They need to divulge that.
Before an online order is finalized, Apple needs to be transparent on WHO the delivery service will be. If you don't like the default delivery service, Apple should give you another option (e.g. instead of Uber Eats delivery, you can opt for UPS, Fedex, etc) even if the alternative is a few dollars more expensive.

I ordered a refurb Studio in late Dec. No problems, on time and I did have to sign for it. Until this scenario happened I didn't know uber eats delivered anything but food. I would have sued them really damn quick for a lot more than the price of the equipment.

Or even if slower. And there should be zero changes without customer consent. When I ordered from Best Buy and picked FedEx, but they sent it courier (I think Postmates). Mine got to me and was like $25, but what if it was $1k+ and it got stolen.

Hard agree. I don't really use courier services, but I absolutely hate when I order something with a certain shipping tier only for the seller to switch to a much slower or less reliable service after the sale. I once ordered a battery on ebay for a time-sensitive phone repair with 4-day USPS shipping, and the seller never mentioned they use a shipping partner. These are third-party transport companies that I guess are slightly cheaper than using USPS pickup, but they always take freaking forever. The shipping partner drove it around several states for 10 full days before finally handing it off to USPS, who then took several more days to deliver it. 2 weeks for a domestic package. I die a little inside every time I see "Arrived Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item" on a tracking number, and every time a merchant does this I leave a very detailed review so other buyers can make the choice to shop elsewhere.
