It’s 3:00 AM in the morning. Try to be more positiveI’m getting more and more annoyed about this closing down of the store 6 hours prior to pre-order thing. It’s ridiculous.

My 14Pro battery health is 87% after one year. This is the last iPhone I ever get. That is unacceptable.
Ouch - that does seem low. My iPhone X is on 86%. I had the battery changed about 3 years agoMy 14Pro battery health is 87% after one year. This is the last iPhone I ever get. That is unacceptable.
You’re buying two pro maxes? How do you manage that in your life? Lol. Oh wait, one is for someone else probably. Never mindReady to pre-order my brand new Natural Titanium + Blue iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB. Let's gooo! 🔥🔥🔥
In my eyes. Yes. Actually. I’m trading it in. Unacceptable after one year. I’m supposed to be happy about this?Of course this renders your phone entirely unusable and fit to be dumped.
Normal usage and normal charging practices. I’m trading it in. Not acceptable.Ouch - that does seem low. My iPhone X is on 86%. I had the battery changed about 3 years ago
It's 2023. Every tech company worth their salt has auto-scaling architecture where servers increase automatically to handle increased load. Also, online shopping is a low compute task. You don't need much hardware to handle many users.I assume that they have to do a lot of reconfiguration of servers in order to handle the huge volume of orders which hits when ordering opens. People complain when they can't get their order in at 5 am. Delays can run 20 minutes or more. Vaguely remember that they set up a special crisis center to stage the rollout. It seems that they don't enable ordering everywhere from all partners at the same time. Looked as if they enable some ordering channel, evaluate the load, and then enable others as capacity is available. Not only do they have to worry about their servers but they also have to handle the orders from 3rd party carriers. I would think that increasing server capabilities by (10x?) times is a complicated task.
It should be midnight tooI’m getting more and more annoyed about this closing down of the store 6 hours prior to pre-order thing. It’s ridiculous.
You don’t know where the fella is based at. For example, it’s 11am where I am and I wanted to check something else on Apple’s website. For me it was just a little annoyance. Point is, the rest of the world doesn’t live in your time zone. It’s 3:00 AM in the morning. Try to be more positive

I get you. Especially when it’s just to build more hype rather than because it needs to be down that long (or at all).I’m getting more and more annoyed about this closing down of the store 6 hours prior to pre-order thing. It’s ridiculous.
Do you remember the days when you needed iTunes to activate phones, and the whole system would crash due to volume? I remember Jobs freaking out over that.I assume that they have to do a lot of reconfiguration of servers in order to handle the huge volume of orders which hits when ordering opens. They have to build hype over what are really lackluster updates.I get you. Especially when it’s just to build more hype rather than because it needs to be down that long (or at all).

Hopefully the 15pm battery fares better after a year. I’m either going to trade this in or replace the battery, or even perhaps give the pixel a try come October. I shall decide then. For now I’m not doing anything. Just disappointed. My 14 Pro battery is also 87%, but I'm getting the 15 PM for the camera.![]()
Same!cant wait I've decided on the 15 pro max natural titanium or the white one...
I might go for white or blue - mainly because of the glass.
I think the glass portion is tinted - so maybe for the first time in a long while, I might be interested in colour.
I mean usually I don't care about colour since I always have it in a case, so you don't even see the colour.

You had days to do it lolIt’s worse than annoying when we can’t even set up the pre-order to be ready at 8am EST.
We needed to pre-set the pre-order before the pre-launch Apple Store pre-shutdown.
Silly of us to not understand that.
