I miss this:

So with the trade in value for my 5s being at $300, could I trade up to the plus "for free"? For the sake of this question, let's pretend I have less than $50 in the bank. Could I get away with that? I know there are taxes etc. wondering at the actual hit on my debit card

Anyone a Verizon Customer

My Verizon contact is up on October 7. Verizon is telling I'm unable to upgrade until October 7, which is less than 3 weeks from September 19. They stated it's their contact with Apple. I often find that Verizon doesn't know what they are talking about when it comes to Apple/iPhones. Anyone else having this problem?Maybe I'm crazy but I'm thinking it would be a different story if it was over a month or over 6 weeks.

Cheers--

I just wish Verizon could learn to tell time. It says that preorders will start at 12:01 am Pacific Standard Time. We're not on Standard time, so what that actually means is 1:01 am PDT (or simply PT).. if my math skills aren't failing me, at least. :p

Verizon, and most carriers, are very straight forward: no upgrading until it's time to (or within a promotional period).

What is everyone going with tonight? The 6 or the 6 plus?

I personally am grabbing a gold and a space gray 6 Plus.

I changed my mind. Nothing wrong with my 5S.
No need for a bigger phone and to waste hundreds. Who is with me?

I usually go with space grey but the silver is looking real sharp. Whats everyone getting?

I want to stay with Verizon but why would you make your customers wait. Bad for business because now I want to take my business elsewhere. I can't be the only person asking this question.

I went to T-Mobile today to set up an account in preparation for an iPhone 6+ 64GB. Only had a $50 deposit, so I was told that in order to do their non-contract option, I'd need to pay half the retail price of the phone (which I assume is $425). Is that correct? And if so, do I order from Apple.com at 12:01am PST or from T-Mobile? Gonna have both sites open, so we'll see :)

I am still undecided... iphone 6 or iphone 6+ help?? lol

That is easy. If you get the 6 you will have mixed feelings (perhaps some regret) about not going for the 6+ and it's extra features. If you get the 6+ you won't have regrets going for the smaller model as the 6+ is as good as it gets.
