Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Pre-Orders

I was getting that too. I kept going to home screen and back on ipad and iphone. Got in on ipad first, got stuck on choose carrier so I switched to iphone and went all the way in.
6Plus, space grey 128 gig.
on the next to last page is the option to ship to home or store pickup and they allow you to pick which store.
I wish the unlocked iPhone was on the App version of the store. I saw it on the Web version before they shut it down.
What's JUMP? I just got the contract-free iPhone under the T-Mobile option on the Apple Store website.
Just placed my order via the iPhone Apple Store App. I got connected around 3:20AM ET and it took me 7 minutes to place the order since I kept having to retry during the transaction. 
UPDATE: I just remembered after placing my order that I didn't get Applecare+. I didn't see that as an option unless I overlooked it. Did anyone else see it?

It took a couple of tries, but my order came thru on the Apple Store App- I got a confirmation email with Order number at 12:22 PST. Space Grey 6 64 GB, and no change in my unlimited data plan thru ATT.

I ordered through Verizon just fine. 128GB Space Grey. Funny, my 'order number' ended in the 50000 zone, about 3 minutes later, I ordered a phone for my mom, her number was one off of mine, but at 90001 range. 40k phones in 3 minutes if those numbers hold true (as each one number was a single new device) is pretty crazy.
Ordered via Apple Store app - iPhone 6, 64GB, space grey, pickup at Apple Store. Going to bed now.
Now the app is just indefinitely loading for me. If it works, I mean, this was kind of fun. : P
I was able to place an order for an iPhone 6 128GB Gold (AT&T) through the Apple Store app in the iPhone. I hit a few errors along the way and I had to try a few times to sign in for the checkout, but eventually it got through and I got an e-mail confirmation (received at 12:23 AM) that the order has gone through. I chose to pick up the phone at my closest Apple Store and it says it should be available for pick up on 9/19. Countdown starts now 
My order went through twice, which is probably not good. In any case, the first says "in progress" and the second says "preparing to ship". Shipping date is listed as 9/17-9/18 for the latter, the other one just has boilerplate about information not appearing.
I guess my best bet is going to be to wait until the dust clears and call them tomorrow to straighten it out.
