I ordered my ATT 4.7 through iPad app. 5.5 on app still says unavailable and verizon site keeps telling me error ecpd profile.

no but I got an error saying it couldn't reach my carrie and not to worry that my phone was reserved. They said I would see an email and would have 24 hours to respond to it or lose my phone. I am a bit worried I may not see that email with all the problems going on tonight and the fact that I can't call att as they are closed. You would have thought they would have stayed the callcenter tonight to seal with any issues with the preorders this is a complete fail.

I'm not sure if you should post your order number on the internet...

I got an order through the ATT website for the 6 (Silver, 128GB) around 2 minutes after 3am. Got the email confirmation 15 minutes later, for "on or around the 19th".

Got the order through the Apple Store app for the 6+ (Silver, 128GB) around 3:25am. Took me 2 tries, after the first one just hanged towards the end, but went back, did it all over again and it went through. Got confirmation for the 19th.

Here's to hoping they both hold and I actually get them on the 19th.

I was finally able to get into the Apple Store App on my iPhone at about 3:20. It took about 10 minutes to finish the order. 64GB Space grey on AT&T shipment date of 09/19.
