I was just in too! I was able to select my phone, carrier, but the button to add it to the cart was greyed out, then the site went down

Youve been able to do that for the past 2 days, the add to cart button wont actually work for another hour though

Anyone have any arguments for or against the 4.7 vs 5.5?

I'm thinking the 4.7 since I can think of no logistical reason to have a 5.5inch phone, but the added battery life and image stabilization is tempting...

Also, the whole Retina HD deal confuses me. Does the 4.7inch have a lower quality display when compared to the 5.5 in terms of quality? I know the PPI is the same as the iPhone 5S, so will I notice any difference between a 5S and the 6 in terms of screen quality? What about 5S VS 5.5?

My Verizon contact is up on October 7. Verizon is telling I'm unable to upgrade until October 7, which is less than 3 weeks from September 19. They stated it's their contact with Apple. I often find that Verizon doesn't know what they are talking about when it comes to Apple/iPhones. Anyone else having this problem?Maybe I'm crazy but I'm thinking it would be a different story if it was over a month or over 6 weeks.

Cheers--

I've been told before you can upgrade up to 30 days before your contract is officially up. Then I asked Verizon today and they said nope. Sometimes it depends on the rep you get. Some say yes some say no. I had this problem a lot when I was on android and switching phones every 6 months. Just keep trying til you get the right rep

Wished there was a poll on which model/color everyone is getting.

I wanna know what's in demand and what to buy and resell on day one :D

Should i preorder or wait until Friday? This is the first time I will be getting the new phone on launch. I always waited a mouth or two.
Preorder if you can. You'll get delivery on launch day via fedex. Otherwise you have to go stand in line at Apple, Radio Shack, a carrier store, or Best Buy like all of the other idiots (I mean that affectionately, I've been one of those idiots) wondering if they'll run out of stock for your color and capacity before you get to the front of the line.
It seems like this year is going to be higher demand than the last 2.

Battery life for the 6+ sold me.

You named the differences. And for resolution. I dare people to tell me they actually see a difference between 720/1080/ or other phones 4k at a reasonable viewing distance. As for the scaling I don't think that will be noticed either

What is everyone going with tonight? The 6 or the 6 plus?

I personally am grabbing a gold and a space gray 6 Plus.

Gray 6. I want a bigger screen, but not phablet sized. I can't imagine going on my runs with that thing. And I just don't feel like I need that much screen. It's a balancing act with me. I want a bigger screen than my 5, but not so big it's cumbersome to put in pockets or the cup holders of my car

Anyone know if the URLs that were previously up for the iPhone 6 on the Apple store website would be the same? Got it ready but wondering if it's even worth it.

They usually wait for demand to meet supply. Could be a couple months. I forget when the unlocked 5s was offered. I really can't remember if it was before or after Christmas. I just know it was a couple months after the launch.

11/22/2013, almost exactly two months after launch. I'm getting a phone using AT&T Next tonight, then will just call and pay the lump sum to pay it off. They will then unlock it. It's a convoluted way of getting an unlocked phone, but since I'm on AT&T anyway I don't care that much.

get an armband for your left arm for running! only problem is when you take it off you'll run in circles from muscle memory

Oh hey, you just solved my dilemma of 6 vs 6+. Completely forgot about running/biking with this thing. Pretty sure the 6+ is wider than my actual arm, so that might be kind of awkward to exercise with.

THIS!
I want the Apple Watch which requires the iPhone to get GPS. So if you want to go for a run or cycling it's coming with you. I can't imagine strapping that phablet to my arm.
