Apple Store Down!

Kind of makes me upset I closed my eBay auction last night. I told myself it isn't worth spending the money and loss since I have the current rev with applecare.

IIRC, they always go down globally, even for maintenance.
Not too long ago it went down and we had some threads of speculation which turned out to be an interface change, and it was down everywhere as far as I know.
 
13" - Core i3 or still Core 2 Duo
15" - Core i5 + Core i7 for upgrade (Dual+HT)
17" - Core i7 (Dual+HT) and hopefully but I don't belieb Core i7 (Quad+HT)

That's my guess.

Personally I'm hope to see USB3.0 - but again, I don't believe it.

The i5s have HT as well...
 
I what morra says is true. I think i will scream. And im a 15 year old guy. So since my voice cracked that has not been possible.....yet. But i think that Arrandale might actually enable me to. =P

But if its not up, then im considering stayed up tonite (im in Australia) but i have school tmr.....which is ghey

I think it might be wishful thinking. The same thing happened to me when I got my MBP in December. I tracked it, it got to the depot in Preston (not even an hour away) on the Saturday afternoon and stayed there until the Monday morning, when it was dispatched for delivery at around 8am.... only to arrive at 3.30pm.

It depends on whether there's anyone who hasn't started a delivery round yet, I guess. I reckon if it isn't dispatched for delivery within the next few hours, you'll get it in the morning.

IF there's an update, it might be wise to not open the MBP, ring Apple, explain the situation and see if you can exchange for a new one, if it's possible.
 
13" - Core i3 + Core i5
15" - Core i5 + Core i7
17" - Core i7

4Gb RAM standard across the line. No bluray, usb3 or other new ports. Possibly a small resbump.
 
Called sales staff

I called the sales number to the Swedish sales staff.
They asked me what product I wanted to buy and I told them that I wanted the Macbook Pro (of course!). They told me that they would call me back when the store opened and could offer me a discount.

This must be good news since I suppose they only would offer a discount on a previous model!

I also hope for USB 3.0... the time frame fits, its a real possibility!

Here in Germany you can send it back within two weeks without giving any reason.
Wondering if that's not the same in your country?
 
i bet IPad Pro, a normal OS X based IPad, and the surprise is YOU CAN INSTALL WINDOWS 7 in it.

I've read about the same situation with people in the US, but I've not read anything about it from people in the UK. However, seeing as though we're dealing with the same company, I'd imagine it's the case.

the apple stores is the USA you have a 2 week grace period too where they will exchange your mac to the new model as well, even if opened and used.

Premier silver members @ best buy here can exchange any PC or Mac within the 2 weeks for any reason with no restocking fee

Regular buyers at best buy here can exchange within the 2 weeks for a 15 percent restocking fee..

wishful thinking i'd say. possibly it's a new one but i really doubt UPS or whoever are waiting on apple to update thier site and then give them the ok to deliver items in a truck containing things other than apple products.
