I'm guessing the China store is run differently from the other stores. Maybe products need to be screened differently before they're sold in China?

I think the iMac update took a few hours, too, so it probably means that whatever it is they're doing, it'll be good.

I wonder why this kind of outage isn't pulled at around 5am UK time. Meaning no daytime downtime for Euro customers and most Americans would be tucked up in bed.

In style probably not. In performance the 15 an 17 should be faster any ones guess on the 13.
