Nice! Did you order to the store or direct to your house? I don't have an Apple store anywhere close so mine is coming directly from Apple.
I made an order the 21st September. And it takes a while, all the way to the fall of October to get it - since it was delayed. I took the Golden one.
I didn't had any iPhone since iPhone 5s (still have it and in mint, along with the original cart and everything else that followed). So it will be interesting to see what has happened over these years.

You need to save model in your cart you will be able to just refresh and open up the cart. That’s what I did.

In my state Apple stores have no online stock. Best Buy has online stock for in store pickup. I wonder if Apple is not listing in store stock so they have inventory for walk in customers.
Here’s my issue. I have a 13 pro ordered for mid November delivery. It is already tied to my T-Mobile account to take advantage of their subsidy deal. When I found a phine locally today (Upper West Side Apple Store NYC) and tried to buy it, it told me that my T-Mobile number was already associated with an order, and that I would have to cancel that order first in order to be able to make the new order. As I was contemplating doing just that, that phone disappeared. In the future when I see a phone available locally I don’t want to risk cancelling my current order to try to snag a phone for pick up. I suppose as of now if I lost both phones and had to make another order for delivery I’d only lose about a week or so. Advice? Thanks!
In the situation with subsidy, it would be best if you just had kept the order for delivery. You are playing a risky game where if you do find one, you'd have to cancel the order and wait for it to reset. In that period of time you definitely would lose out. Now that you cancelled it, you'd have to redo it all and be back at the end of the line.
If you were paying full price for the phone, ordering online for delivery and to find one in stock at the apple store will work because you can cancel the online order once you secure one for in-store pick up, but that that's work for Device payment plan or iUP.
no. Apple Upgrade Program only works when purchased directly from the Apple Store. For Best Buy it's only the carrier plan.
Yes, you can. I believe they give you 14 days from pick up, to trade in your old phone in the store.
At the volumes Apple purchases during this time of the year, I’m sure they are further exacerbating the silicon chip shortage for many other OEMs. Meanwhile Apple should have a steady stream of products flowing even during the shortage.

I ordered a blue iPhone13 pm 512GB on 9/25 - initial expected shipping Oct 29 - Nov 19, then ordered AW Blue 45mm on 10/14. Both from T-mobile. Both will be delivered tomorrow 10/18 barring any mishaps with UPS.
