Apple Store iPhone 13 & Pro Availability Mega Thread [MERGED]

I have seen random Pro Max supply pop up through the last couple of days here in NYC although no Pros. It doesn’t look like large shipments are coming in, just individual units which tend to go quickly (except 1TB units which last an hour or so).

I was lucky to upgrade from a 12 Pro to 13 Pro with a launch day delivery, but have been thinking about going for the Max this time around (very hard decision when the store went live…I pretty much go back and forth each year).

I stopped by the Upper West Side store today to check them out, see if they had walk in stock not on the online store, and to see if a Pro Max was right for me (I loved it). Now I really want it, but of course they said any stock goes immediately on the website. Have until Friday to return my Pro so running out of time. I could start a mail-in return which gives me another 14 days, but the employee told me they would allow a return beyond 14 days in-store since supplies are so limited. Anyone ever get that sort of leniency at a store before? Not exactly sure I should count on it 100%. I even mentioned I could start a return for more time and he said not to worry about it…

For those in metro areas near an Apple store, be sure to check the delivery options. I could not find the device I wanted available in any store last night and of course delivery windows were a month+ out (Graphite Pro Max 256). However, I did have the option of courier delivery between 10am and 12pm today. Figured it was a glitch and would get an update email this morning saying it was coming much later, but much to my surprise, it showed up today at 10:15. I think the local store 10 blocks away received some stock in the evening to use for for walk ins today (no in store pick up available on online store) and allowed my to grab one for delivery. Cost $9 extra but well worth it. Now going to return my 13 Pro SB 256….

Hello everyone! I have question for you guyz. Im planning to visit New York next week. Do you think i can find 13 pro max (128) any color in store pick up?. Or When will i able to do it?

I was not happy with my in store experience at all. If I didn’t have an hour and a half drive and needed GPS to get home, I would have left the new phone in box and just set it up at home. yeah, my main concern is that it appears to take at least a couple of hours-- Not sure I want to just hang out in an apple store for that length of time, but you are right-- I might be able to do that.

I have to find an iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max in stock for it to even matter, though, hah. haven't managed to find one with sufficient capacity so far...

Where do you do that? I have no options. Just delivery or in store pickup and Im in the LA area.

In NYC. No stock available to pickup and normal delivery was listed to arrive in early to mid November. But right above the November date it listed an option to use a courier service to deliver next day. When I checked out I chose the different delivery option and paid an extra $9. Had it early this morning and now the Pro is sitting ready to be returned. Pro Max is awesome, battery life insane even though still doing its usual background processes after setting up.
 
All out again in the Milwaukee/Madison/Chicago area. No 13 PM or Pro in stock. If they did have them in stock, they're usually gone before the day is over.
 
I was committed on keeping my iPhone 12 Pro Max and not upgrading this year until I saw the pictures taken with the pro max and played with my sons 13 pro. I have upgraded every year since the 4s.

I ordered from Best Buy and decided to take my chances to check stock at my local Apple Stores - this morning I was refreshing their page like crazy when a 256 Pro Max in Graphite came up in Emeryville (About 30 miles from my home).:)
Oh well no need to stop buying this year right?

Like it was mentioned in this thread, found inventories to show up at 1PM up until 2PM in Chicago area for 13PM 256 SB. Got one from Indianapolis though.
Also was just checking out of curiosity, and refreshing even after 1 minute brings up some available options. So refresh every minute if you want it.

I've found that there aren't stock updates on Sundays and rarely on Mondays. I think it's probably because most delivery carriers don't deliver Sundays.

That makes sense. It does seem to be at the top of an hour, and from my experience, either at 12/1 PM or 7/8 PM in that store's local time zone.

I’ve seen some this morning as well. But then it’s possible that it could be someone who cancelled the order for something else or they didn’t pick it up And just cancelled automatically. Either way it’s gone again.

You got lucky- congrats!

All 5 of the apple stores in my area are showing no inventory for really anything other than a few 256GB minis (I want the mini, but 128GB).... it's crazy how fast all of these, even the less popular mini are moving. Last year I know minis even within days of release were fairly easy to get same day, or to have shipped within two days.

Snagged a Sierra Blue PM this morning in NY. West 14th and Downtown Brooklyn had stock at around 6:30-7AM
 
I have been refreshing all day for a max, every once in awhile a local in-store pickup option pops up as available, but by the time i go to check out, I am getting delivery as the only option. Is there anything else I can do to expedite the process so I can secure the random pop ups? or just act faster and get lucky?

Just gotta act faster. It's possible that someone also saw one in stock and did it quick.
 
I live in Japan, and don’t want the models here bc of the “pervert alert” 🚨 Shutter 📸 sound that can’t be turned off and the antenna don’t have all the frequencies that US models are capable of. I’m going to Hawaii in a few weeks for military training - anyone know if the 13pros have been available in their three stores?
