Hello guys im a flight attended. So i visit USA 2 times in one month. I really wanna buy pro max from the store. Do you guys have any idea when in order pick up will available anytime?

You will have to keep checking the iphone inventory checker heroku app and hopefully you can find one in stocknear where you will be traveling.

With the holidays coming, I would expect there's high demand, so you will need to keep checking and hopefully get lucky. The stores themselves update the inventory when they receive shipments, which happens only during business hours, so don't waste your time checking when it's 3:00 AM at the store.

Upgrading from 12 Pro Max to a 13 Pro 256GB Sierra Blue (looking to drop screen size intentionally). I've affectionately termed my 12PM as "cinderblock".

Order placed this morning. Current delivery update Dec 8-15. Hopefully shipping dates will improve some. But I can wait a bit longer.

That's the route I'm taking, but couldn't get that colour or storage until December through the Apple Store UK. Was lucky enough to get a 128GB Graphite Pro 13 delivering Thursday from Amazon UK.

Did the exact same as you, had a strike of luck and a friend of mines offered to buy my 12 Pro Max. Since I live abroad and iPhone prices here are ridiculously high I was able to cover about 90% of the 13 Pro's price with the sale.

I ordered the phone on the US online store yesterday since I'll be in Miami in December and I had a delivery estimate date between the 8th and 15th to my friend's house where I'll be staying. I was worried I wouldn't get it before the 12th which is my return date, but this morning I went to check the order status and the date has moved to between December 1st and 8th so now I just hope the date holds.

If it can get delivered earlier it would be great, but I just hope if the estimate delivery dates move again it just doesn't go to later.

Also moving from 12 Pro Max to 13 Pro and dropping screen size (helps that the cameras have feature parity... that was always a reason that got me to buy the larger size in the past).

Though I just checked that stock checker site enough to know when local stock was refreshing and was able to grab on for in-store pickup. I got the impression that availability of the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max was improving last week, but I can't really say for sure. Maybe they're just not getting snapped up as quickly as those really eager are finally getting their devices.

(I did grab a 13 Pro Max as well that I'll no doubt return... still have a little bit of hesitancy about dropping screen size since I've had that larger size every year since they were available, the iPhone X being the exception since there was no larger version of that.)
 
Mine actually shipped on Nov 5th but has been stuck in Memphis at FedEX since then with no tracking updates other than "arrived at FedEX hub" - worried it has been lost/stolen. My trade-in box got here on time though, and when I asked Apple if I had to ship my current phone back they told me yes it has to be within 15 days... so now I am without a phone until my new one comes, if it ever does. :(
Any word on your phone?
 
Pro’s and Pro Max are hard to come by for walk in’s. by the time you see it online And decide to buy it as walk-in they are gone in minutes.
You need to go thru the online buying process to see if any are available at stores in your area. If you see one, order it immediately for in store pick up.

Sadly the tracking has not updated since Nov 5th and Apple thinks the shipment was lost. They told me they will re-order me a new one but it could be a few weeks before it ships and a month plus before I receive it. I explained the situation since I sent my old phone off for the trade-in so now I'm without a phone, but I wasn't offered any expedited delivery (I mean, I understand the supply issues and it wasn't the poor dudes fault on the phone but still sucks).

Um. I already have one. This was more for other people who were looking to snag one. And the only way is to do it online. as I mentioned YOu can’t just go walk in and buy one because by the time you get to the store, it’s likely gone.

Ordered on 10/27 with an estimate delivery of Nov 18-26. It shipped on 11/16 and shows out for delivery today. I am in FL

It may be, but often when I checked a few weeks ago prior to grabbing a couple, I frequently went to https://iphonechecker.herokuapp.com/q/92374/i13ProMax/unlocked and didn’t see any in the LA are at all, regardless of color or size. I just checked on a whim right now and three different locations have a 256gb Sierra blue PM. I know it’s not the one you’re looking for, but I’m actually surprised there are three different locations with this in stock. Definitely not enough data to say for sure if it’s getting better or worse yet.

Just curious, Apple doesn't charge you the day you make the purchase, instead they charge you after. How many days before shipping the phone out did they charge your card? I totally forgot and requested an upgrade on the card I put on the payment info for my phone purchase and haven't been charged yet and I'm afraid that when they cancel that card to send me a new one that Apple will cancel my order since they will be unable to charge me.
 
My order had updated from Dec 8-15 to Dec 1-8. But seeing some posts here had me check stock at our local store this morning - and boom. iPhone 13 Pro, Sierra Blue, 256GB, Unlocked, scheduled for pickup later this morning! Woot!
 
Just curious, Apple doesn't charge you the day you make the purchase, instead they charge you after. How many days before shipping the phone out did they charge your card? I totally forgot and requested an upgrade on the card I put on the payment info for my phone purchase and haven't been charged yet and I'm afraid that when they cancel that card to send me a new one that Apple will cancel my order since they will be unable to charge me.
All I know is that the phone got delivered yesterday (11/17) and my card still shows no pending charge for it. I assume it will show up tomorrow.

Im sorry to hear that. Maybe you can’t get a loaner phone from your carrier until it comes. It won’t be the best but it beats nothing. After all, you are still paying for phone services - at least they can loan you a phone, you think?

Well, *a* benefit to buying one unlocked is that, if you decide to sell it for some reason, you don’t have to worry about getting it unlocked. Or you could move it to another carrier without having to pay it off first.

Also, unless this has changed, I think the Pro / Pro Max inventory is tight enough that Apple Stores are not getting devices set up for specific carriers. If you use that iPhone checker site and toggle the different carriers + unlocked, you’ll find the inventory is exactly the same. I think because iPhone 13 Pro / Max is now sold and activated via eSIM, they don’t need a separate set of devices for each carrier with bundled sim cards for those carriers. They seem to just have one pool of phones and they set them up on whichever carrier.

I went the ”connect on your own later” route rather than choosing a carrier when I bought mine in the Apple Store app. It was nice not to have to fuss with the activation process in store, but I did already have a “5G” SIM card. (I‘m also pretty sure that by just swapping sim cards, I avoided that ridiculous $30 “activation fee” T-Mobile usually charges.)

Mainly the benefit to buying through T-Mobile is just the financing options and any promotional discounts they might be running. (I did get a free iPhone 12 on my account last December with a trade in of an old iPhone 8… pretty aggressive promotion back then.)

They charged my card the day it cleared export customs, and shipped from Shanghai.

Update-https://iphonechecker.herokuapp.com/ for the win. Starting at 11AM I refreshed every 3 minutes until a couple of units showed up. As it turns up a graphite showed up about 35 minutes away at an official apple store. I would have preferred a sierra blue one but the convenience and me coincidentally having this afternoon off to go grab it in person swayed me to get it done. Pick up time at 3PM and pickup code added to my apple wallet.

That's a lesson for me. Use that site when it's time to update my phone if there are inventory issues.

Anyone notice in the past 3 days a majority of availability has been the 256GB variant?
Yeah! I just recently picked up a 13 Pro Max 256GB Graphite because the store got a shipment of them in that day.

My advice to anyone who is looking is that if you're nearby or happen to be an Apple Store or other electronic store like Best Buy, ask in person if that have any in stock. Their site isn't always up to date with availability.

I doubt it since it was ordered directly through apple. I just really hope they don't use FedEx again otherwise I'm going to be in a shipping loop nightmare. And the previous tracking still has not updated.
