I kept checking last night and finally found myself a 512gb 13 PM Graphite.

There are some 1 TB Pro Max's available in the Dallas area at Northpark right now if anyone is close.

NYC/NJ forum members - a bunch of 13 Pro/Pro Max models are currently showing up at the Apple store in Downtown Brooklyn.

Looks like today is 13PM restock day. Just waiting on the pros now. Congrats to everyone getting their PM's!

I was luckily able to secure a SB 256GB last night. Just picked it up. Turned in the graphite. Plus it was giving me problems anyway. The guy at the store said they're only getting so many but they all went online last night.

Graphite and Gold 256GB 13 Pro Max models are currently available at the Menlo Park, NJ store. Graphite 1 TB 13 Pro Max is available at the West 14th St. store in Manhattan.

Saw 3 Pro Maxes this morning at Victoria Gardens Apple Store (San Bernardino, CA) - they were gone within an hour.
(a 256 gold, a 512 grey, and a 1TB blue) -- no Pros.

Those things are rare and flying off the shelves like crazy.

They've since added a 128 and a 256 pro max --- so they're adding them throughout the day. And gone.

Sierra Blue 13 PM 256GB showing available today at Oakbrook and Apple Main Place (Naperville, IL) - Hurry!!

256GB Gold
1TB Graphite

Edit: Oakbrook Sierra Blue is now gone.

Those who are still hunting for one and lives in Chicagoland, Apple Michigan Avenue has received a massive batch and almost all models of PM are in stock. lol
The Chicago Lincoln Park store has them in stock right now too. I’m there now waiting to do the trade in. They’re super busy.

Feels like Pros might be harder to come by than PMs. A few PMs pop up in LA throughout the day but haven't seen a Pro all week.

I’ve found every color PM 256gb throughout the day for pickup in one of the Nashville area stores except for silver, which is the color I want :(

For what its worth I had a iPhone 13 Pro Max 128gb silver on order with Apple directly and I had a estimated ship date of 10/28. Last night I decided to look on Best Buys website and to my shock I was able to order a 13 Pro Max 256gb graphite and have it delivered tomorrow(Friday)! I had to pay for the upgraded shipping or wait until Monday with free shipping. I was very surprised they had any in stock. So point being, maybe check out Best Buys website to see if they have one available at an earlier date. I really wanted a silver one since I've always had graphite but I'll "settle".lol
Wellll...I guess it was too good to be true. Like I said in my post I was supposed to get my 13 Pro Max today and Best Buy delayed it. It now says its due sometime between tomorrow(Saturday) and next Tuesday. BUT it goes on to say if we can't fulfil your order by 10/15 we will cancel your order and refund you. SUPER annoying. I had an order placed with Apple and canceled it for this order. Now if it did end up being canceled because they can't fulfil it by 10/15 I am SOL except for checking for any in store pick ups that may come around if stock permits.

For what it’s worth, I believe that if you truly want a launch day iPhone then you need to order directly through Apple. Every year there are a lot of people who complain about delayed phones ordered through Best Buy and the carriers, but if Apple says that you are getting a launch day phone then you are almost certainly getting a launch day phone. Of course there are always a handful of people who order through Apple and don’t get a phone due to shipping issues or whatever, but far far fewer than people who ordered from third parties.

A few years ago I saw a post that explained why this is the case. Apple makes the phones, so they know exactly how many they have and how many they can sell for launch day delivery, but the third parties don’t. They rely on Apple to provide the phones and apparently they don’t even know how many they will get. They could order, say 20,000 phones for launch day and base their preorders on that number, but when the phones arrive they might actually only get 10,000 because Apple didn’t have that many allocated to third parties. And that means that some of their preorders are going to be late.

That's a pretty good perspective. I usually stick with my original preorder, although its usually from Verizon...but when I saw it was "in stock" at Best Buy I got all ahead of myself and excited and didn't really think it through. I should have just stuck with my original order through Apple. But we'll see how I feel about that if I actually get it by Tuesday. LOL

There have been no new shipments in the entire Dallas or Houston areas since the launch. Once that initial stock was exhausted, that lasted through last weekend for some pro/max configurations, it’s been bone dry.

Yep, I just gave up and ordered online.
