Mine just changed to preparing for shipping!!

Congrats and no problem!!! I'm glad this thread was able to give everyone a peace of mind, as it helped me and my nerves too! I'm almost 99% sure that since all of us with this issue ordered so early, our phones were already here in the US! I'm also willing to bet our models were made a little bit earlier than the serial numbers coming up on Support Profiles now for the 6 Plus Space Gray 64 GB AT&T models.
 
Dumb question, but should we be checking UPS or FedEx using reference number? Does the format include 1+area code or just area code?

I'm not sure tbh. Since our phones were already in the US, I'm thinking that FedEX is a possibility, but just check both tbh. My friend's phone is currently in China, I did a UPS reference search and found his order.

Just got updated to preparing for shipment. I don't know what time they changed it. I just checked my order after reading everyone got updated. So far it's updated but not yet in my profile and no tracking info on ups or fedex yet.

Thanks! Can't even seem to find my other 6+ that's been preparing for shipping since saturday. I'll have to keep checking.
 
I have Iphone 6+ 64GB Space Gray and mine WAS processing until JUST NOW.. it changed to Preparing for Shipment at about 6:20pm Central Time!!! FINALLY

And and mine was purchased from apple store app on iPhone

At&t is my service provider

I updated my post above to include that my email confirmation was at 2:25am Central (12:25) on the night of preorders :) just to help out a little.
 
I ordered at around 3:45 am EST the morning it went online.

AT&T space grey 64 via Apple Store app

It's said preparing for shipment for a few days now. Hoping it updates with a tracking code soon.

Says I'm supposed to get it 9/19.

Ordered using Apple Store app and got my order in at around 3:45AM Eastern

I chose to pick it up in store.

Also see that my credit card has a temporary authorization for the amount of 319

I wouldn't worry about it too much. There system is so over whelmed I'm sure it's taking some time for it to catch up...

You guys do realize they can ship these things around the world overnight, right? And often do for iPhone launches. There is nothing usual about it not advancing status when it does not technically need to ship until Thursday or even early Friday morning. When I pre-ordered my 4S for launch day, it didn't go into "preparing to ship" status until Thursday. That was in Shenzhen China, and it still made it here (California) the next day.
 
I don't think that the theory they were in the states already was right. Mine is in China right now.

My phone was added to my support profile FINALLY!!!!

You're very lucky. My phone that was prepping for shipment since Saturday just showed up on ups and support profile. The one that just changed to shipping prep yesterday afternoon still has not showed up at all. My first phone is also shipping from China.

Anyone ever use the pick up at will call service from ups?

Mine just showed up on the Support Profile page, and subsequently was able to find the shipment on UPS via the Apple order number (minus the last two digits). It's in China now but en route for delivery on Friday by end of day.

Anyone know if I ask UPS to drop it off at UPS location for pick up if that will delay the process? UPS shows up way late in my neighborhood (past 8pm most days) for end of day deliveries. I am a premier MyChoice member. Thanks!
 
Hopefully the rest of us will get added to our respective support pages and be able to track. Still waiting personally.
