I can now get to the upgrade phones page when I click the preorder button on AT&T for both of my lines and it says Check Upgrade Eligibility and then spins from there no matter what I click.

Dammit....I was really expecting to be snoozing by now...

I just call 1-800-MY-APPLE and got a message that said due to high volumes, my call couldn't be completed.

I want to go back to sleep. Maybe in the morning it will be better.

Yes they did. All reps were told what time to tell customers, and many major articles posted 12:01 AM.

So while Apple didn't take the tacky move of saying "PRE ORDER at 12:01 AM", it was known to be at that time :-/
