Well all that happened to me is that I got a reservation number with an email stating they will send a follow up email to put in my details. I wish they would just take my money. I don't know how you guys are getting through.

They aren't unless they are signing up for a new line and service.

I got the email saying it's reserved. At the bottom it says they can't reach my carrier to process the info. Damn AT&T!!!

I wouldn't worry about it for now, just try to get the order processed and then call AT&T later and have them correct your plan.

You think it would be better to select one of the two plans or not select one at all?

I currently have 1500 text message plan a month on AT&T but on Apple's site, it makes me select either an unlimited plan or pay by the text. Anyone else have that problem?

Same situation here. I guess I'll let it process, and then check the actual options next week. Messaging is something that (used to be at least) an easy thing to change.

I also did not get to choose a voice plan....one was selected for me.....

Did it through Apple and got the whole "reserved" thing, finally was able to do it through AT&T. I'm on a Family Talk Unlimited plan with grandfathered unlimited data. When I did it through AT&T it said my Unlimited Data for iPhone was incompatible, and I had to select Unlimited Data for iPhone 4S. I wonder if that's where the discrepancy is.

Hopefully that doesn't put a kink in my plans of swapping SIM cards to another line.

Same. This happened to me probably 20 times last summer before I finally got through to reserve via the Apple Store app.

This happened to me too!! I don't know what the deal is. Are you on a family plan because I am and someone had mentioned earlier they are only doing single phone plans right now and that might be it
