Order already exists?

bombed out when I chose a text plan and now I get "Order already exists" WTF?
 
UK site is taking pre-orders £499 £599 and £699 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively. have been given an order number and the following advisory whatever it means: :)We are processing your order and will send you an email confirmation shortly. Please note that your order is governed by Apple's Sales and Refund Policy.

Same here. It seemed to know that I was on the 1400 minute Family Plan. Didn't want to change that but didn't give me any other option either.
 
ok this was odd but it did work.
Since I could not get past add to existing number on Apple I decided to go to AT&T and it worked.
I have unlimited plan on my 3G iPhone, they said it would change but they gave me the same unlimited plan on the 4S, not sure why but it seems I can carry my old unlimited plan to the 4S.
Anyway, lame process and crazy ****

Finally completed the pre-order through AT&T's site -- exactly 1 hour after pre-orders were scheduled to begin. Sleep...

For me, AT&T shows the button to pre-order the iPhone 4S, but leads to the iPhone 4.

Apple lets me place the order all the way to the end, only to state that I cannot order due to an error.

I am beyond frustrated, and will be tired at work tomorrow because of this. I planned to wake up, order and sleep. Now I'm wide awake due to these mishaps.
 
Had the best luck with the iphone app. got all the way through to "place order" and it loaded for a while and then timed out. HOWEVER it is showing up as a pending charge on my bank account AND when i tried to place the order again it says "Order already exists, Please cancel the other order before proceeding further".

2nd time, why does Apple hate me?
 
AT&T order is real smooth, but it won't let me change the delivery address. I'll have to try Apple again.
 
Got to the last step on apple.com and got kicked out. Just finished an order through AT&T and got a confirmation email. Whew...

back to bed

I dont care who i go with anymore... im going verizon...
 
This kills me, ATT site not working, Apple site not working, called Apple to order, automated response basically said we're too busy to help you right now (literally).... a joke....

ATT/Apple No (Fan?)

I cant get mine to get past the verification on either Apple or ATT. I have a FAN discount through my employer. I wonder if that is what is causing the problem?
