Isn't it a little strange that the UK store is still up if there were going to be some serious updates. In the past I'm sure the UK store has been down at the same time.

Nah, UK Store has been up for the last couple. They'll update it later today.

Buying the current entry-level MBP tomorrow morning from the Regent Street store. Will be "protected" for 2 weeks, if something really emerges on Feb.26 will be upgraded. Can't wait forever for Penryn to appear, need to be productive again!

Look at the Air and tell me there's nothing wrong with the MBP's
trackpad /redesign and smaller formfactor, more features is what's needed - the MBP are ment to be Pro Laptops not year old Laptops

Erm, the MacBook Pro has more "features" than the Air. More powerful, more ports, more expandability.
Secondly, there is a reason the Air has a small form factor.
but apple has spent all there time and resources making the Air they have let the MBP slip - we should really have an updated MBP by now
