I checked Time Capsule which still says pre-order on the website, but I bet that needed to be updated (and the store) since 10.5.2 came out.

Though I am hoping not.

Quite possible. They've taken the Store offline before to announce Apple Remote Desktop.

I hope they never bring out a glossy ACD. It's bad enough with the iMac.

Completely agree.

I really dislike the glossy screens.

This has cost Apple a few iMac sales in my case. Won't buy for me or my organization if I have a choice.

Apple should start doing "online press events".

If plastic is outdated, that makes 90% of PCs outdated . The difference in material is needed to distinguish consumer and Pro models.

Yes, because then it would cost more. The only thing the MacBooks need updating is the GPU, something like the ATI 3450 (I think that's the correct model number) in the highend Macbook would be great.
