I used this link and re-selected buy iPhone since this was for a T-Mobile 6+. I got the T-Mobile 6 16GB space gray. Used Chrome with Incognito mode.
Not working for me.
Unfortunately, looks like this one has slipped to 7-10 days.

Try it again. Use Chrome and open in new Incognito window. I just did it twice. It didn't work if I used open in new window.
The apple store website is actually up. They just throttle the traffic at the load balancer. Keep opening the page in a new incognito mode and eventually, you will get in. Took me like 10 times. Got 2 T mobile ones to be picked up on 9/19

was able to order two off att.com around 3:20am ET. Apple store still down for me on east coast (checking now out of curiosity) - i expected unprecedented demand this time around due to the 6+ but i did not expect the demand to be quite this high.
they wanted to sell 1M units before end of Sept. i think they will easily exceed that.
In hindsight - they probably should have staged the 6 and 6+ releases since it seems there are distinct groups that want one of the other and would tend not to switch sides based on availability. this would have eased web traffic a lot i think...

I'm not exactly sure that's how a real load balancer would work ... Even if it worked based off a sole client it would be IP based not browser cache/cookie based. To further test this i tried about 25 times with no sucess.
