i have a 24" and ready to upgrade to a newer imac... I LOVE WATCHING MOVIES AND TV SHOWS in my den/office.. it's kinda small, the office/den, but I like a larger screen for viewing.... I am surprised more folks didn't have the same comment.

that guy could even be the owner, the son of the owner, a relative of the owner or just a random guy who's been told that they MUST sell more 21' (left in their stock) than 27'

after all he is there to sell
if everybody goes there and asks the 27'', he/they must convince people to go for the 21''
and they succeed once they did.

if you have funds+space go for the 27'' and thank the guy for his advice.

So you went to the Apple Store and the employee helped you pick out an iMac that fits you're needs. That's pretty cool.

I bought the 27" because Apple stopped making the 24" which is what the 27" replaced.

I do a lot of graphics editing so a 21.5" would have been a bit small for me considering I was used to the 24".

I really wanted the 3.4 Ghz i7 Quad Core CPU

You wont reget buying the 27, but you will most likely reget buying the 21.5.

There was no question for me, I am a videophile at heart and bigger(with higher resolution) is ALWAYS better. That is half the reason i bought an iMac. the 27" screen is beautiful. I have two 24" HD monitors also plugged into my iMac via thunderbolt to HDMI.

I do no video or graphics editing.(i want to learn cause i have Final Cut Studio)
I primarily use parallels and windows based stuff, but the screen real estate is awesome!!

Larger screen all the way. but with the macair, i got the smaller screen of 11 inch. perfect!! .

Its entirely up to you own preference. I would get the larger screen as once you buy, you are gonna have what if questions and maybe regrets!!
