I noticed when I google for the Mac Pro, I will get a ton of Macbook Pro hits. It is as if the Mac Pro is a fictional desktop that never was innovative.
They should be color-coded by rank. You know, like in Star Trek. This way, the employees can refer you to an employee with e.g. a red shirt if you require a "creative pro".
Must be an interesting role, I can see it now... "So El Capitan automatically updated itself to Sierra and now Final Cut Pro is defunct, how am I supposed to do my work. While I'm at it, I'm thinking to replace my 3 year old Mac Pro, can you tell me what the difference is between the current model and the one I have?"
"The move comes less than three months after Apple introduced a new "Creative Pro" position above Creative. Retail employees holding this position are considered the most knowledgable about Apple products and services, providing customers with advice and expertise about products such as the iPhone. Creative Pros are situated on the sales floor, internally described as the Product Zone."
[doublepost=1476802753][/doublepost]Iteresting. Mind you, this is still a consumer facing position, absolutely Apple centric. I find it vaguely ironic, as i recently has ocassion to fall through an Apple Store. So like a tech geek i am, i checked out the "trashcan" Mac Pro. Guess what, did not have any Adobe Creative apps, or Pro Tools, or Autodesk stuff... just the usual Apple suspects. You'd thing someone interestd in the highest end (for a little while anyway) machine, micght want to dee how Premire might run on it?
The title amuses me, I actually AM a Creative Pro – Graphic and Web designer. Jus' sayin'.
