The old one unfortunately doesn't get an update, even though iPhones running A13 Bionic can run iOS 26.

My old ones didn't get any updates. So the firmware update is for new Studio Display only? The old ones don't get the update?
The news article mentioned it is only for the new one. I have the old one and it is not showing any updates avaialble after installing 26.4.So the firmware update is for new Studio Display only? The old ones don't get the update?
Yup. I also have OG Studio Display. The Mac Studio that drives it is running 26.4 but I am not offered an update for the OG Studio Display. The news article mentioned it is only for the new one. I have the old one and it is not showing any updates avaialble after installing 26.4.
get it, it’s worth the money 😉[…]
I am now currently debating on getting a new Herman Miller chair as they have 25% off currently hmm...
How would the 1st gen XDR compare with the new AS ?FYI. for XDR, best buy never had open box for 1st gen....now XDR has open boxes. Saw one that had a pretty good discount...was 2700 I believe. Just FYI.
No problem!Hi @Arctic Moose Sorry for digging up an old thread, but how did you like your setup with two ASDs and the Ergotron HX Wall Dual Monitor Arm? Did you disassemble the bottom handle? Do you have any straight-on photos of the setup and willing to share it? I’m curious whether it’s possible to hide the arms and mounting points by lowering the monitors.
No problem!
However, I ultimately decided to keep the handle, as I do adjust the monitors every now and then.
If you choose your wall attachment point carefully, so that the monitors are normally in the lowest position, and also remove the handle, the entire setup will be virtually invisible from all reasonable viewing angles from within the room.
