You can get 2m pretty easily. The apple one is rather pricey.

Nothing todo with variable length ??!!? I already have power cord wired up through through the VESA arm bought at teh right length. For a £1500 i have to buy a extension cord to overcome another daft Apple design - can't be bothered to put up with sub standard nonsense.
Apple will sell soon a 3m version of the same braided Thunderbolt cable. But as other have said, this cable is pricey and there are very good alternatives less expensive
The power cable on the LG UltraFine 5K is also 1.8m in length. How would that be any different?

No, that cable only carries power, not data, so you will be able to charge your laptop, but not extend the display to the Studio Display.
No, but in an office that turns off heat overnight. The Apple display will refuse to turn on until it warms up, which could take an hour or more. I have a (much cheaper) Samsung display right next to it that pops on every time no matter the temperature. THAT is how a display should work, especially one >$1,000.
Thank you. Do you regret buying the Display Studio? It seems like other than the spacial audio feature, there’s nothing else that warrants $1,599 price tag. Too bad we still have those annoying black sidebars even on this display.
