Lit. Thanks fam. Much betterYou're right. I changed "waterproofing" to "water resistance" in this particular sentence.
For all other mentions of "waterproof," this is why.
See above.

The only people being baited into clicking are the insufferable pedants who feel they need to school everyone on the obvious fact that nothing is truely water "proof" if you take that word to the extreme of meaning water will never, under any circumstances, over all of geologic time, get into the housing.Wow. It's not going to be waterproof. Change the ****ing title, stop click-baiting.
"waterproof."yes, my rolex is waterproof
Nah he updated it, all is right in the world now. It's obviously based off of the supplier's quotations.
Buddy, it's not about me. It's about the thousands of other people who will take this as gospel and believe it. No need for an editor to post false articles. It's a word change that needed to happen, and it did. Now chill. The only people being baited into clicking are the insufferable pedants who feel they need to school everyone on the obvious fact that nothing is truely water "proof" if you take that word to the extreme of meaning water will never, under any circumstances, over all of geologic time, get into the housing.
Definitely reads much better now. Good stuff @Joe Rossignol .Nah he updated it, all is right in the world now.

Thanks Jessie S.I'm so excited! I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!
Yeah, it probably will be. I'm not that excited about wireless charging in the first place cuz I charge my phone all over the place where ever I have a stand or a plug near by. I don't see myself buying a lot of the conductors around my house just for the convenience. Not to mention does wireless charging still work with a case on? If not that's a deal breaker for me as well.Wireless charger sold separately.
I kid! Hopefully.
and android is a suck fest, and most don't care if the iPhone has wireless charing or you can take it in the shower.Blah blah blah Android has had wireless charging for years blah blah blah Apple is playing catch up blah blah blah

Nothing in the last year has even hinted at a new SE. Apple has no plans for that.Is the current iPhone SE waterproof/resistant? Because if "one" of Apple's next iPhones has waterproofing capabilities, and since the 7's are already "waterproof/resistant," hopefully this means that there is a new SE in the works.
FYI, they rarely film real water as it's hard to capture it in the first place. It looks too transparent/non-existent. In movies they would use oil instead in most cases. In the pic above the water looks pretty much CGI to me![]()
It's nice to think that somebody at Apple was paid to splash water on iPhones in an aesthetically pleasing manner and photograph the results. They probably spent hours on this.
The most eye-popping feature will be the price tag.

Spoken like a class action lawyer... Anyone who goes to a rumor site and takes anything they see as gospel is not the kind of person who understands the distinction between the nuanced details of IP68 and "waterproof".It's about the thousands of other people who will take this as gospel and believe it.

Yes, but it's special Apple black water.![]()

There is no way your Rolex would withstand the pressure of 1000m of water. Therefore, its not "waterproof".yes, my rolex is waterproof
